Incredibly, he has had piano lessons, but not voice lessons!

Lady Gaga, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, activist, businesswoman, fashion designer and actress. Born and raised in New York City, she primarily studied at the Convent of the Sacred Heart and briefly attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts before withdrawing to focus on her musical career. She soon began performing in the rock music scene of Manhattan’s Lower East Side. By the end of 2007, record executive and producer Vincent Herbert signed her to his label Streamline Records, an imprint of Interscope Records. Initially working as a songwriter at Interscope Records, her vocal abilities captured the attention of recording artist Akon, who also signed her to Kon Live Distribution, his own label under Interscope.

Read some of my other posts if you think I have anything but love for children, and (for the most part) disgust with the church. My remark about the Catholics was ironic, as I hope most everyone on this board knows. It is a disgusting practice, I am thankful it is no longer in vogue, and for the record I am against circumcision as well.

There is something about the range, tone, and beauty of a pre-adolescent boy’s singing voice that is widely recognized as being unattainable by singers of other ages. The fact that this kid had NO vocal training is astounding. I have every hope his voice retains its beauty after it changes, but I wish there was a way to preserve it forever that didn’t involve removing a nutsack (physically or chemically).

He is talented enough not to give a crap about what his peers think. Most gifted kids are justly dismissive of the idiocy and triviality of the kids around them. I hope those two rude prepster girls in the front row receive all the negative press they deserve for chattering during his performance.

You go Mother Hen, I know exactly what you meant, do not let nobody stand in your way when it comes to expressing yourself.

ok. i think that it is unfair to rattle on about a young kids talent when it has to do with castration. it is offensive.
i have to draw the line mh.
this kid had the balls to share his emotional side with the peers in his midst.
my hat is off to him.
as for castration, – this kid will grow up. i play and sing songs by cyndi lauper, britany spears, carol king, jaymay – any girl whos girl songs i like. lots of em. my voice isnt girlish. at least they are great songs.
let this boy grow up and not talk about his masculinity for f’n sake. sheeeesh. thats not gonna happen.
he will be great no matter what his voice sounds like even if he sings baritone or bass.
the only thing in life that is constant is change.
a good recording never hurt for posterity.
b.t.w. .. i like lady gaga songs too.

I didn’t find out about him from the Ellen show, but because he is from our state. I can totally see why they used to castrate young boys so they could keep their voices forever. Once it changes, will he have the range? What an unbelievable talent.

I am not surrounded by school age kids, so I don’t know much about Lady Gaga, but I know a voice when I hear one, that kid is special.

He was on ellen yesterday too and Gaga called in, told him to focus, live his dream and stay away from girls for a while. He looks like my oldest nephew with the haircut and all.
