A row is brewing over the rich paying megabucks to meet the Pope.
Rich people want to pay silly amounts of money to meet an Austrian ex-Nazi wearing a funny hat and that’s a problem? For who precisely?

In the meantime, as Britain embarrasses itself in ways even the most fervent masochist wouldn’t come up with, America outshines everyone by insisting that Gary McKinnon, who had the audacity to ‘have a look’ at a few top secret computer files in The Pentagon or where ever via his home PC, is extradited to the USA to be tried….er….for something or other….
Given that America just executed some woman who was clearly a sandwich short of a picnic for arranging her husband and step sons murder – perhaps only half a sandwich then?….Gary is understandably perturbed – as are the British public – that, instead of the 3 months community service order he might get over here, a lethal injection or 300 years in prison could ensue over there….
Britain then further embarrasses itself by not telling the appropriate USA officials to ‘go fuck themselves’, give our Gary a fair trial over here and send him off to mow Mrs. Jones garden for a few weeks….
Oh, and by the way America…that lot some of you financially supported for a while…what were they called again?..oh yeah…The IRA…well…a few of them are kicking off again. Apparently they want to blow up my bank account.
Ta very much if they do – as there’s fuck all in it – I may claim a few million compensation for blowing up my overdraft.
Might even make a small donation to MMA with my compo!

Good grief!!! We used to fuck on the back row!!! Now getting layed whilst watching Clint Eastwood in ‘Where Eagles Dare’ is something else!!! – I know it was made in ’68 which made me 11 but it was re-run in ’71 at The Odeon in Oldham and….I think I’ll shut up now…
The silliness news makes it to L.A. I had a young Guatemalan ask me through an interpreter if the book he’s reading is true that it is illegal to kiss in a movie theater in England. I can’t bring myself to ask my English relatives…
Oh yeah some powerful stupidity at work. Same thing happened in Canada with the guy selling seeds for weed through the mail. Had to be extradited to suffer the consequences in America for selling the demon weed. You would think they would be happy since it’s a plant God created and all, but NOOOOOOO, gotta get the stoners off the streets.
Instead of trying to throw McKinnon in jail, they should give him a medal and hire him as a consultant.
If he can do it and knows methods on how, why not hire the guy instead of some “Think Tank” that will produce no results but 18 academic papers on network theory?
IMHO, I don’t think that he caused any harm. But if he can do it, then others that might not be so harmless will as well.

Truer words have never been spoken. I’m not sure why people insist on putting themselves through misery and torment, obsessing over things of little import, all while people seem to lose minimal sleep over such things as human suffering.
