How to Make a Bomb in the Kitchen of Your Mom

In light of the mass murder of 14 people in San Bernadino, California, and the discovery of a number of homemade bombs at the home of the now-dead terrorists I was reminded of the following article:

Looking for new tips on how to best wage jihad against the decadent West? Check out the new issue of “Inspire”, the official English-language al Qaeda magazine—it’s chock-full of great ideas for the at-home terrorist such as ‘How to make a bomb in the kitchen of your mom.’

The magazine is thought to be the work of Anwar al-Awlaki, an American citizen, cleric and al-Qaeda leader who was based in Yemen and killed in a U.S. Drone Strike in September of 2011 (UPDATED).  An early editorial by al-Awlaki, entitled May Our Souls Be Sacrificed For You appears in the first issue.

The magazine states that its title comes from a verse in the Qur’an, “Inspire the believers to fight”, and describes itself as “A special gift to the Islamic Nation”. The magazine was first “discovered” online by the SITE Institute. When the first issue of the magazine was initially released, a technical error prevented most of the magazine’s pages from loading properly. An uncorrupted version of the magazine was released a few days later.

If anyone thinks that al Qaeda is little more than a rag tag bunch of thugs they should seriously reconsider. These people are dangerous. They are an army, not a group. They are dedicated ideologues who will stop at nothing in their pursuit of their f*cked up religious beliefs. They need to be destroyed.

I agree with their Wahabi desire to be martyrs, as long as they don’t take non fanatics with them.
