The 12 Ugliest Book Covers Ever

Read Time:1 Minute, 9 Second

Now these are what I call some serious “art.”  Did I ever mention I love raccoons?
Zombie Raccoons and Killer Bunnies — Oh, the helpless face on that racoon, the anger problems of our friend bunny, priceless. (Buy it here)

Sewer, Gas & Electric — This horrendous cover practically dares you not to read the book. Bizarre, awful colors, text going every direction, and a floating shark? Pass. (Buy it here)

Twilight of Briareus — Creepiest kid ever. Significantly less awe-inspiring than the end of 2001: A Space Odyssey; it’s mostly just eerie. (Buy it here)

Cooking with Pooh — Yummy… (Buy it here)

The Penetrator — How subtle, ha? (Buy it here)

Baby Sitters – Little Sister #3 — Poor child, she’s on one of the worst book covers ever. (Buy it here)

A Lesson My Cat Taught Me — And the Creepiest Drawing Award goes to Nancy Lepri. (Buy it here)

The Secret of the Mansion — Not sure where Honey Wheeler’s other hand is but, judging by Trixie Belden’s expression, it must be someplace interesting… (Buy it here)

Eat the Document — So many buttons… (Buy it here)

Inmortal Image — Looks like a bad webpage from 1996. (Buy it here)

Moment of Truth — What’s she doing with her hand? (Buy it here)

Unaswered Prayers — How can anybody be romantic when they’re framed in some guy’s crotch? (buy it here)

Many thanks our friends at Oddee…..

Ordered the Bunny story for my nephew who loves the bunnies and has a thing for vampires and zombies right now(must be his aunt) 🙂 Cat one too for a friends daughter. Thanks for the lists so I don’t have to think.

Okay..5 of those books are going to be list of Christmas presents. And the cover of “Eat this Document” looks just like a professor from a class I took.

Actually the Zombie Rccoon one caught my attention (becuase of the zombies and animals of course!) so I looked it up on Amazon. Here is the short review of one of the anthology’s tales:

BunRabs by Donald J. Bingle:
And this was a killer bunny story . . . told from the POV of a chicken. *grin* The chicken’s POV of the world in general is hilarious, especially their take on modern day conveniences (and how they use them) and the mythology they’ve developed about rabbits and how they incorporate some of our own traditions into their worldview. A fun story.

Anything containing a tale “told from the point of view of a chicken” will make me want it!
