Some Good Times Fishing and Filming
I like the Cars “Let the Good Times Roll” and that’s what we have here. Also like fishing and that explains the picture. This is a remake from a long time ago with updates to Windows Movie Maker that if you watch in Hi-Def the pictures are almost as good as on your computer.
Have been playing around with small hi-def camcorders and have taken the first one back and on the second. I will decide on one soon and cannot wait to be able to actually use it.
300″ and five times so far of -20 temps and below once reaching -46.5 and that is no bull shit. Spring can’t get here soon enough. I am so sick of white and all over the country winter has been difficult at best but until it gets better let the good times roll!!

Man, I can’t agree with you more about this winter. I am so sick of the cold weather and snow that it’s about to make me go crazy. By the way, that is a fabulous picture above. We actually had a beautiful day yesterday in St. Louis, MO. I believe the temperature got up to 67, fantastic day. Hopefully spring is right around the corner and I can’t wait to do some fishing. Great post and keep up the good work.
Thank you for that carp rods! A relative lives across the river from Keokuk and I know it’s been very nasty. We may get massive amounts of snow but it’s not the same as back there.
Is there anything to know about what carp rods are?
BTW yes it’s a beautiful fish caught last Feb about this time on the White River east of Meeker,Co. I wish I could say that was me and that it my picture as well. I can’t do that.
Not a mud skipper and of course I forget but it is common to small streams. If I remember I will be back here. You’re welcome MJS. It’s fun isn’t it. There’s more damn snow-spring can’t get here soon enough. Some find mountains of snow better than the green and the colors of the rest of the year. I’m not one of those.
Wow how great. What was that little “mud skipper” fish? A mud skipper? What beautiful country you enjoy and those friendships are special also. Thanks for sharing with us Tom.
Expert fisherman, maybe, expert with a camera and use of editing software, for sure.
Trial and error Holte. This is not hard to do but I thank you for your generous comment.
Gorgeous scenery! I think I’d even go noodling if I had that as a backdrop!
Then you’re tougher than me Mom.There are no snapping turtles in these waters so you would be okay.
Laissez bon temps roullez One Fly !
This is all I got till the snow goes away Oso.
