Mega money monsters: 7 Million just ain’t enough
Times are tough and I can’t help having a bad attitude here. The fact is:
Some 42 percent of the more than 1,000 millionaires surveyed by Fidelity said they did not feel wealthy. Respondents had at least $1 million in investable assets, excluding any real estate or retirement accounts.
Having goals was something not talked about much when I grew up. 30 years ago I did have a goal and that was to get a “good” job at city, county, state or recreation district level. I was not successful in that although I’ve had a good job and now it’s time for all that to come to and end towards the end of the year.
When my income becomes less than a third of what it is now and all expenses are paid Fly will have 18 smacks left over each day to play with. That and less than a 100k that has to last till he croaks. A whole lot less than the rich and a whole lot more than those who have little. It’ll work.
I will be living and eating like a PCV again and I don’t have a problem with that and by choice I choose to do this plus being without health insurance for three years till I turn 65. It’s going to be very hard but I over getting up and going to work everyday for most of my life. I’ve had several who get enormous monthly amounts to live on say “I worked hard for my money”. Most of us have as well.
To try not to be too big of an asshole here and – – – – no I take that back these people need some asshole like me. So I say to those the article is about and anyone who is worth over a million dollars and feel you just don’t have enough to “make it”. Kiss my ass and the fucking horse you rode in on!
I don’t even know these pricks and I don’t like ’em.

The key to this pitiful story is keeping them in the style to which have become accustomed. In my style of living I could probably retire in great comfort on 6 months of what they spend (probably less but I hedging against inflation :).).
When a person has several homes, 3 or four cars, country club memberships, and appearances to keep up $7 million would have to be the minimum amount to survive on. Kinda sickening and typical of a society that is in deep decline.
It’s a sick society when having millions of dollars cannot be considered wealthy, for the simple reason “it’s not enough.”
Bear with me, as I type through the tears I have in my eyes for these poor put upon millionaires. When we have no one that is one pay check away from poverty, I will start feeling bad for them.
In the same vein, it’s nice to see the Chamber of Commerce saying what we already know about SCOTUS and their relationship to the CoC.

Isn’t the way of the world to want more? Rich people, poor people, your next door neighbor……
I’m not a big fan of rich people, but a lot of the poor people I’ve met over the years are a big problem too. And it just gets worse and worse and worse. Want to see real bad people, in the act of being real bad? Go to divorce court, and sit back and watch. When this one is done with that one, there is no limit to the expense they’ll go to for the next dollar, as long as the loser is paying that expense. Right? Does it matter if they need the money? No. Do they care where it will come from? No.
//truly rich//? if I have bus fare and enough for a beer…. I am well adjusted. to feel rich… I need cab fare and enough for a six pack… God Bless the Koch Bros for helping me get perspective.
