Pastor Rob Bell: Quit talking about hell you crazy Christians!!!
A breath of fresh air from the toxic brew that is Christianity. As a practicing Atheist I can tell you that it is rare to find a Jesus Jumper who actually understands the mechanics of the Heavenly hierarchy and how it translates to us trolls here on earth. So, I loved this latest little video from a God lovin’ Bible Banger with class. Serious class. Here is the summary from Newser:
Evangelical blogs are in a tizzy over a pastor’s new book questioning the existence of hell. Just how controversial is Love Wins, by Rob Bell? When a North Carolina pastor posted his support of the book on Facebook, he was out of a job two days later because of it, reports AP. Author Bell runs a 10,000-member church in Michigan and has been gaining renown as a hip young pastor—this 2007 summary sees him as a combination of David Letterman and Ira Glass—for a few years now.
In both a widely seen promotional video (see it in below) and in the book itself, Bell challenges the notion that some people spend eternity suffering for their sins in hell. “This is misguided and toxic and ultimately subverts the contagious spread of Jesus’ message of love, peace, forgiveness and joy that our world desperately needs to hear,” he writes. His theological critics see him as a universalist, espousing the belief that all will be saved, regardless of religious belief. Bell says he isn’t a universalist and calls the debate over labels way off point.
So tell us what you think? Is it possible to find a Banger of the Bible who can actually speak to the silliness of the matter? Leave a comment. We appreciate you.

I think pastor Bell should take time out and Really seek God ‘s counsel and advice. He should go on a retreat , have people pray for him and over him.I don’t know what book he ‘s been reading or who he’s been listening to .All that should be investigated . Has he been spending time in prayer and seeking God’s counsel ?As a pastor and man of God ,that should be his first priority, besides feeding the flock .He should be careful that he doesn’t turn himself into some new age guru or any some such creature .Come on Rob ! The bible was never about human reasoning or philosophy .It’s about faith . If you find yourself too smart to believe the simple biblical message maybe you shouldn’t be a pastor especially of a megachurch.
Thank You ,
Peace and Love.

I have to totally agree with Hank.
Rob likes to think he is introducing a “new gospel” and asks the “what if…..” question in a manner that casts doubt on God’s word.
The simple truth of the gospel is a stumbling block or foolishness to those who can’t handle the simple truth.
Sorry to say xians, but, we all end up in the same place pretty much. Back to some form of energy from the sun which created it all in the first place.
Go Rob Bell, take those so-called Christians on – love ’em to death.
