Cardinal Martinez wants Ricky Martin to stop being gay Romeo

The Catholics are at it again, playing the same old song, and this time it is a Ricky Martin tune.  You see Ricky is gay. Yes gay!  The popular singer is a homosexual with a big voice and a huge, adoring fan base.  He is not ashamed of who he is and I’m sure his fans could care less about his sexual persuasion, save one.

That’s right.  There is one fan, a good Catholic no doubt and a cardinal no less who just wants Ricky to stop talking about gayness.  While it’s OK to be gay, says the red hat, it’s not OK to well, act like you’re gay and actually be happy about it.

You see Ricky is somewhat of a gay romeo and the Puerto Rican pontiff doesn’t like that. He doesn’t like that one bit and he is pleading with the entertainer to stop saying it’s OK to be gay.

Here is the story summary for your edification:

Cardinal Luis Aponte Martinez of San Juan, Puerto Rico, is a fan of Ricky Martin’s “artistic gifts,” but he sure wishes the singer would stop promoting homosexuality like some gay Romeo. In an interview with Primera Hora published last week and picked up yesterday by On Top magazine and Perez Hilton, Martinez added, “Please, for the love of his children, for whom I imagine he wants the best, try to set an example to our youth of the great values we all share, besides sex.

” Further: ” The Roman Catholic church does not reject the homosexual [but] their immoral actions and behaviors, and trying to promote homosexuality or sexual promiscuity among our youth, indeed, is immoral regardless of where it comes from.”

I’m no Ricky Martin fan by any stretch of the imagination but I do wish the catholics would just keep their preaching and proselytizing to themselves.

The Cardinal does not like Ricky living the Vida Loca. Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou.

    Tom Cruise is gay.

I have that from a driving student who knows about such things apparently. She’s a personal friend of Sir Anthony Hopkins.

Ricky Martin was clearly gay the moment he appeared…I know these things…

Should we care if Tom Cruise IS gay???

Would MI and MI2 etc mean less as entertainment if Cruise had come out?

    Absolutely not.

    Sadly it would.

As an ‘old fart’ I do have issues with queers.

I find it difficult to accept.

    Tom Cruise?

Gay is never bad when you have Top Gun!!!!

The Roman Catholics need not worry about controlling anyone’s sexuality: there are enough people in the world, or in any event, enough observant ignorant ones to do the Church’s baby-making for it.
