Dreamworks artist beats puppy to death

Read Time:1 Minute, 24 Second

Taser

There are some crimes for which there is no just punishment.  There are some things that people do that are beyond comprehension and this is one of those things.  To shoot, and beat to death a puppy like the one shown in the picture,  is an act or cruelty beyond imaginings.

At this writing there is no known motive for this horrendous act but no doubt one will be revealed soon.  As to the killer I hope he is sentenced to the maximum allowed by law, and then, while in prison, meets a few dog lovers.

I will never look at Dreamworks the same.  Here is the summary from our friends at Newser:

An animator who helped bring lovable creatures to life in movies like Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar 2 has been arrested for what Humane Society workers describe as one of the worst cases of animal abuse they’ve ever seen. DreamWorks employee Young Song is accused of shooting his neighbor’s muzzled German Shepherd puppy with a pellet gun and then beating it to death with a hammer, reports the New York Daily News.

Song has pleaded not guilty to a felony count of animal cruelty that carries up to four years in jail, though the incident was captured on surveillance video. “When our officers first viewed the videotape, one of our officers had tears in his eyes. He’d never seen anything like this before,” the head of the Pasadena Humane Society tells the Los Angeles Times. “In my 31 years at this animal shelter I’ve never seen anything like this.”

Please let us know what you think about this act of incredible cruelty by leaving a comment.

Animals have no voice and are innocents that need people to speak up for them, humans who choose to kill each other, well, thats their decision!!!! They’ll face their own demons….

[…] Dreamworks artist beats puppy to death. […]

Yes, the puppy killer in Pasadena is Young Song who is an animation artist for DreamWorks. His lawyer is Nick Okorocha, Defense Attorney in Pasadena, CA, toll free phone number is 888-977-6425. The next Court Date is May 26, probably at the Pasadena Court House. EVERYthing that has been reported is corroborated in a video taken of the event on Wed. April 20. The owner made that available immediately to the Police and the Search and Arrest Warrants were served a week later on Wed, April 27, prompting quite a bit of media attention. Why did it take a week to search his property? This gave him ample time to remove all physical evidence. Yes, there is a video of the horrendous deed, and, hopefully, there won’t be any technicalities to invalidate that record, since the authorities were not able to find a body or any weapons…..DUH! Like the guy is going to keep it all in his house for a week!

This puppy murder happened a few doors away from my home in NW Pasadena……her name was Micala and she had a loving family, including two young children. I had not heard about this until three days after the event, which took place on Wed, Apr 27. I was out for a walk and Micala’s owner stopped me, wanting to tell me about what had happened to his family pet. The story was SO appalling, I could not beleive it, but, everything is completely verifiable through the video tape that recorded it all, including the guy taking her carcass off the property. It then took a whole week to serve the Search and Arrest Warrants. According to the reports, Micala was muzzled, rendering her completely defenceless. At 16 months old, she was still a curious puppy. The owner told me that there had been barking issues, and that he was putting her through a training program, has muzzled her and was keeping her indoors at night. He had to tell his young children that she had run away, so, as not to traumatize them further. Apparently, his young son needed counseling at school to process the loss of his beloved pet, not even knowing the horrors that had befallen her!
The next Court Date is on May 26, I’m assuming at the Pasadena Courthouse and it would be great if concerned animal lovers were present along with a full force Media!
As some people have suggested, doing the same to the perpertrator would seem a fair conclusion! Not going to happen, of course! It will be interesting to see if DreamWorks does anything about his status there.

Sick, twisted, cowardly piece of shit. His karma will catch up with him, and he will be reincarnated into a cockroach, and then squished and smeared to death. Only cowards prey on children and animals, unable to defend themselves. Karma is a bee-otch!!

This makes me sick….I hope this bastard gets what is coming to him!

Taser was just beautiful. His eyes were so gentle, I don’t know how anyone could hurt him. I feel sick. I don’t know what a “just” punishment is for an animal abuser but I hope that sick jerk gets what’s due because that poor puppy suffered horribly.

If I pop over would you supply me with a gun? No?…How about some torture instruments then?….Let’s make the bastard suffer!!!!!

The person who killed that dog will get what he deserves, and I feel bad for dreamworks as a whole because they will probably get some bad press for this when it isn’t their fault in the least.

Wait, why wont you ever look at Dreamworks the same?
One employee loses it and the whole company is crap now?

That’s a pretty messed up attitude.

To say I’m appalled wouldn’t even begin to describe how I feel about this… outraged? Heartbroken?

I hope they throw the book at him. At least if this is in CA, there are animal cruelty laws. In Mississippi, he’d probably just pay a fine.

Ugh.
