Ahmadinejad accuses west of stealing rain clouds and causing drought

Get my umbrella, it’s raining

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad become a fully-fledged member of the Conspiracy Nuts Club this week, when he accused Europe and the U.S. of causing the drought that is plaguing Iran.

“Western countries have designed plans to cause drought in certain areas of the world, including Iran,” Mr Ahmadinejad said in the city of Arak in Markazi province.

“According to reports on climate, whose accuracy has been verified, European countries are using special equipment to force clouds to dump” their water on their continent, he said.

By doing so, “they prevent rain clouds from reaching regional countries, including Iran,” Mr Ahmadinejad accused.

Mr Ahmadinejad also recalled an article by “a Western politician,” whom he did not identify, in which “droughts in some regions spanning from Turkey and Iran to east of Asia are predicted for the next 30 years.”

“The regions (referred to in) the article … include countries whose culture and civilization frighten the West,” Mr Ahmadinejad continued.

Iranian leaders claim hourly that Western countries, led by the big-bad United States, devise “plots” to undermine the Islamic republic and to impede its economic and scientific development.

Minutes after the Iranian president made the ridiculous claim at the inauguration of a dam in a central province, it started to rain.

“Minutes after the Iranian president made the ridiculous claim at the inauguration of a dam in a central province, it started to rain.”

To which he will probably claim “Allah has heard my pleas and has defeated the evil West’s intentions to destroy our land”…because apparently their god doesn’t think enough of them to do that on his own without being begged to do it…

What a buffoon. Sadly, an entire population of people believe his bullshit. What else do they have to believe? Do we have a “Radio Free MidEast” type of thing going on over there?
We really should be beaming radio and TV signals over there that depict something other than that whacky islamic fundie bullshit. . . yea, let’s send them some whacky christian fundie bullshit.
