Pawlenty: Obama dividing nation-waging class warfare
Pawlenty wants to help out his corporate friends
Tim Pawlenty, yet another Republican pawn of corporate fat cats, including Big Oil and Big Coal, had the audacity to claim the president was waging “class warfare.” This corporate toady wants to do away with Amtrak and the Post Office, so as to be better prepared to enrich his cash bloated friends.
This is just the opening salvo in what promises to be an active season of silliness for the Republican wanna be presidential candidates. In reality, Pawlenty might seem tame in comparison to some of the loonies that are rumored to be eying the Oval Office. How about Bachmann, Palin 2012 or the other way around? Now that’s one scary thought.
Here is the story summary:
Tim Pawlenty delivered a combative speech today in which he called for massive changes in the tax code and accused Barack Obama of being a “champion practitioner of class warfare.” Pawlenty proposed a system with just two tax brackets, taxing the first $50,000 of income ($100,000 for married couples) at 10%, and all income above it at 25%, while eliminating the capital gains and estate taxes entirely, the Wall Street Journal reports. He also advocated a constitutional amendment requiring a balanced budget, saying, “It will force decision makers to finally make decisions.”
Pawlenty also advocating eliminating a host of government programs, including the post office and Amtrak, CBS reports. “If you can find a service or a good available on Google or the Internet, then the federal government probably doesn’t need to be providing that service,” he said. And he made the aforementioned “class warfare” attack on Obama, saying he had “has spent three years dividing our nation, fanning the flames of class envy and resentment.”
Is Tim Pawlenty your candidate? What do you think about a President Pawlenty?

Class Warfare against the poor and middle class….Good.
End of Class Warfare against all but the rich….Evil.
I think I understand the Republican Party now.
And I have to wonder why anyone that isn’t part of that two percent that is winning the class war would support them. Blacks for “Ol Massa”, Jews and Gays and Trade Unionists for Hitler?
I wish my economic class would engage in some political class warfare. The top 20% controls 80, maybe even 90% of the wealth. Why suckasses who’s purpose when elected is to further enrich the rich get elected is one of the great enigmas of our Nation.
You know it is really, really bad when Mitt Romney starts looking like a moderate, left leaning Republican. Hang on folks this is going to be a wild one.
I knew I was feeling woozy for some reason. I got an extra large dose of Republican stupidity radiation.
