Hard Left Obama Haters Join Tea Party

The Obama haters have defected to the enemy to prove how much they hate Obama
So, my predictions have come to pass. I have long maintained that there is a percentage of the Democratic party that is disaffected enough with the president to side with the Republicans. These are the Obama haters.
The Tea Baggers, a la Liberal, are the uber-progressives. The blusterers, malcontents, and misfits of the Left, blinded by an unnatural but curious hate of their president, have joined the enemy under the guise of “free and thoughtful speech.” They are traitors to the party. They are the enemy. I will not visit their blogs and web sites, because I don’t want to give them the benefit of a hit. They set themselves above the rest by calling those who support the president “Obamabots,” “Obots,” and apologists, while claiming themselves to be the bearers of the torch of freedom of speech. It is absolute fracking nonsense.
Mark my words! If President Obama loses the election and is replaced by one of the loons on the Right, the first to come flocking back home will be the Obama Haters. They will be widgetizing “backwards” clocks to count the days until the next presidential election. They will be fanatic in their criticisms of the newly elected president while never admitting the role they played in putting a Republican in the White House.

Think “Tea Party” and you’ll probably think “Republican”—but it turns out Tea Party Democrats do, in fact, exist. But it’s hard to say just how many, and harder still to gauge how much of an impact they have on elections, the Washington Post reports. Polls have put the percentage of Democrats in the Tea Party movement at anywhere from 4% (CNN) to 15% (Gallup); for her part, Michele Bachmann believes it’s actually 20%.
So who are they? Bachmann describes Tea Party Democrats as “disaffected,” and a Republican pollster explains that some Democrats are shifting to the Tea Party because they are “anti-spending and for budget austerity.” Even so, no Democrat has yet emerged as a significant Tea Party candidate, and Democrats didn’t cross over to vote Republican in numbers any higher than normal during the 2010 elections.

Wonderful Mr. Ellington. Just as we have a good percentage of disgruntled democrats in our fold, just as Ronald reagan did, people like you come along and anger them into going back the democratic party.
I came here, and MadMike whom I fundamentally disagree with on vitually everything, was gracious enough to let me contribute articles from a conservative perspective. While I have great enmity to “do nothing government patronage employees” as the nephew of a former Chicago police officer, I have great respect for what MadMike did in his career. You may think you’re doing our cause a favor by attacking a police officer, I think you and the people who choose the route of discussion you’ve taken do great harm.
I would think more democrats would lean to Ron Paul because of his anti war stance. The truth is though, I’d be happy if this cycle there were millions of Bachman democrats.

I am a member of the “Hard Left,” a self-admitted Socialist who was not and is not a Obama supporter. The Obamabots cannot see that he is not that different from Bushitler. But to say that people like me are teabaggers is ludicrous. We see the teabaggers for what they are…racists and neo-Nazis. We do not support Obama and his Republicrat policies, but we defend him as a human being against the racism hurled against him by the teabaggers. We are referred to as “firebaggers” by the Obamabots. And trust me..there are many liberals who are disagreeing with his policies, the extension of The Patriot Act being one of them.
No one’s saying that Obama Haters, one and all, have joined the Tea Party. But clearly some have if you look at the survey numbers in the article summary. Secondly, do you hate Obama enough to vote for a Republican or not vote at all? If so you have become the enemy.
To me, Obama is a member of what I call the Republicrat/Demoplican party. I see no real difference between the Repubs and Dems, except that I see the Republicans as leaning towards fascism. I vote Socialist, have always done so, from Peter Camejo in ’76 to Brian Moore in ’08.
I want universal health care and a fair taxing system. If that makes me a socialist then I’m damn proud to be one 🙂
Looking at Woody’s post tells me there’s an Obama hater in the house.
It just goes to show that being selfish, stupid, unrealistic and short-sighted isn’t limited to Tea Baggers. I can only that when they walk into the voting booth, if they even vote, that they will be struck by lightening and suddenly grow a brain.
The lightning is a possibility but the brain growing an impossibility 🙂 Tea Baggers have long demonstrated a deficit in the brain department.
