The Republicans are now screaming FOUL over the news that Hollywood is going to produce a movie about the killing of Osama bin Laden
When it comes to President Obama the Republicans get crazier every day it seems. Now that the news of a possible movie about the killing of Osama bin Laden has leaked to the public, at least one Republican congressman is crying foul. It seems he is convinced this is a huge White House plot to help Obama win re-election.
Here’s the story:
A Republican congressman is demanding an investigation following reports that the White House leaked top secret information about the Osama bin Laden kill operation to Hollywood filmmakers. Details were handed over to Hurt Locker director Kathryn Bigelow to make a positive film to boost the president’s image before the next election, wrote New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd. “The moviemakers are getting top-level access to the most classified mission in history” because the White House “is counting on the big-screen version of the killing of bin Laden to counter Obama’s growing reputation as ineffectual,” she wrote. The White House has called the report “ridiculous.”
New York Republican Rep. Peter King, who heads the Homeland Security Committee, challenged the “advisability of of providing Hollywood executives with access to covert military operators and clandestine CIA officers.” King also wondered in his letter to the inspectors general of the CIA and the Defense Department which precautions would be taken so that no operational secrets are revealed in any film. White House spokesman Jay Carney said that the press office has made an effort to ensure that articles and Hollywood productions about the president are accurate, but added: “We do not discuss classified information.”

The question would be if someone was not making a movie out that event why not? It easily rivals any of the most dramatic events of this century to date, if not of the last 50 years. There is a documentary coming out involving an interview with George W. Bush about 9/11. This would be a great counter point to that.
Not sure we should give them more drugs. Maybe we should take away the ones they’re on. The side effects are obviously worse than whatever they’re meant to treat. maybe they should have to smoke a compulsory blunt, chill them out a bit, and give them some perspective on the legalization question.
Is anyone really questioning why Hollywood would make a docudrama about one of the biggest news stories of the year? Why, for money, you dolts!
I swear these people get crazier by the minute. We need to give them drugs, preferably knock-out pills, until at least after the election.
