Top 10 Canine Commandments
Many dogs have passed through my life and I have loved each and every one. When I was younger, however, I thought dogs processed like humans.
I thought when one called the dog it should come and if it did not it should be scolded. I had no idea that was the opposite of what you should do. When I was younger I thought my dog was being deliberately mischievous when he chewed on my shoes. I had no idea he was clueless as to the purpose of a shoe and his chewing probably meant he was bored, among other things. When I was younger I had no idea my dog would miss me when I was gone. When I was younger I wish I had known the 10 canine commandments:
