Perry’s wife: Obama made my son lose his job

Read Time:57 Second

Anita Perry made headlines Thursday when she complained that she and her husband had been “brutalized” of late because of their faith.

Naturally, her husband Rick supported her statement today on ABC.  She was back in headline-making mode today, this time blaming the Obama administration for her son’s job loss, reports CNN. “He resigned his job two weeks ago because he can’t go out and campaign with his father because of SEC regulations,” she said. “He has a wife… he’s trying to start a business. So I can empathize.”

Then, to complete the point: “My son lost his job because of this administration.” The Perrys’ son, Griffin, reportedly worked at Duetsche Bank, and new SEC rules limit the political doings of investment advisers. Debate continues, meanwhile, on the jobs plan Rick Perry unveiled today, in which he called for expanded domestic drilling and reduced EPA regulations. Here’s a yay from Tina Korbe at Hot Air (“common-sense proposals that would create 1.2 million jobs”) and a nay from Michael Levi at the Council on Foreign Relations (the numbers are “unrealistic”).

What do you think about Mrs. Perry’s allegation?

That’s funny, since his family was all proud about him telling them he would quit his job to go work on his fathers campaign a short time ago. Wish they would get their stories straight before they go and forget the internets keep comments for.. well..forever. He’s not going to be missing any meals from quitting his bank job any time soon and he managed to land on his feet right away, unlike many others.

He only got the damn job at Deutshe because of Phil Gramm donating 600k through his PAC when pRick Perry was shoveling a lottery bill through the Texas leg that would benefit Gramm.

Could you imagine the uproar if Michelle Obama came out and said her husband was being brutalized in the press? the right would lose their collective shit. I am sick and way tired of these dramartyr queens and the constant poutrage surrounding the whole help help, we’re being oppressed because we are white conservative Christians routine. Someone needs to tell her to get down from the cross, it’s getting crowded up there and somebody somewhere might need the wood to keep warm this winter.

Yesterday, Randi Rhodes reported that a member of Congress told her that other GOP members of the House wanted to everything they could to make Obama look bad.
