Time’s 2011 Person of the Year
Time Magazine is about to select a person of the year.
Who do you think should be Time‘s Person of the Year for 2011?
This has been a tumultuous year and there were a wide range of persons who were heroes, villains, leaders and liars, and innovators and thieves, but, who influenced this year for better or worse?
In 2010, the person of the year was Facebook’s founder Mark Zuckerberg. U.S. Treasury Secretary Ben Bernanke topped the 2009 list (wonder what Perry thought of that), and President Barack Obama won this honor in 2008.
Time selected Mikhail Gorbachev (not Ronald Reagan) as the Person of the Decade for the 1980s.
Once again, it’s that time of year to tell Time magazine who you think influenced the world for better or worse. Sure, Time’s editors will make this decision, but why not tell the publisher which people deserve the Person of the Year honor?
Some selections are not serious contenders (like the 1%); but, if you were in charge, who would you choose or not choose? While you’re relaxing after that big dinner, have some fun and cast your votes here.
Here’s the rankings for 23 November 2011 as of 5:30 p.m. EST.

2006 Person of the Year: The Computer
Mad Mike’s America thanks Time magazine.
Thanks for pointing them out Lee. They will be fixed momentarily.
Sorry but this story has a lot of errors. I think you could use a good editor and nominate that person.
