Way to be a diplomat Mitt Romney. On the eve of the London Olympics Opening Ceremony, which Romney will be attending, he slaps the organizers with his doubts about their abilities.

Romney will be in London for a massive fundraiser, masquerading as a foreign policy tour. He will meet with lots of crooked bankers and American hedge fund managers who ply their trade in the UK capital. After raking in millions of dollars, attending the opening of the games, he goes to Israel and Poland.

In an interview with NBC News, Romney expressed concerns about “disconcerting” signs of a lack of readiness for the Games.

The stories about the private security firm not having enough people, the supposed strike of the immigration and customs officials – that obviously is not something which is encouraging.

Romney, of course, is an expert on Olympic organization. One of the most corrupt Olympics of all time, the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, was (according to Romney) rescued by him, with the aid of $1.3 billion in federal assistance. He even bragged about how much tax-payer money he directed to Utah. Sounds like a bail-out to me.

Just a minute Romney, London is not corrupt Utah or obedient Beijing, this is pushy London, a place where people bitch, moan and threaten to go on strike to combat government cuts. They protest a lot and counter government threats with threats of their own. Not your sort of place at all. Just take your money and run.
