Vicious Extremist Ted Nugent Urges Armed Revolution

Read Time:1 Minute, 50 Second

(Raw Story) Detroit-born southern rockabilly Ted Nugent isn’t known for moderation, but from the sound of his latest comments, the re-election of President Barack Obama has made him ever more extreme.

Crazy Ted Nugent.
Crazy Ted Nugent.

Speaking to fans during an NBC-sponsored gun show, Nugent said that Obama “is attempting to re-implement the tyranny of King George that we escaped from in 1776,” adding: “If you want another Concord bridge, I’ve got some buddies.”

The comment was a reference to the Battle of Concord, in which a British soldier broke a standoff and fired upon assembled American militiamen, in what later became known as “the shot heard around the world” that helped launch the Revolutionary War.

He added that Obama “hires, appoints and associates with communists,” and that he’s “an evil, dangerous man who hates America and hates freedom. And we need to fix this as soon as possible.”

Speaking to conspiracy website World Net Daily earlier in January, the National Rifle Association board member said he believes a new era of civil rights is dawning — one in which gun lovers must become “the Rosa Parks.”

His comments to WND came roughly one month after his show “Ted Nugent’s Gun Country” was forever scrapped by The Discovery Channel, in response to the massacre in Newtown, Connecticut. Nugent previously told fans that it was a planned series, but a Discovery spokesperson confirmed to Raw Story that no such plans were ever laid.

Nugent also found himself face to face with Secret Service agents last April after he urged fans to “chop [Democrats’] heads off in November,” during the presidential election. He also warned, “if Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”

These videos were snipped by liberal watchdog group Media Matters, published Tuesday, January 22, 2013.

I think all that “cat scratch fever” messed up Ted’s brain.

Well we all know that Rosa would be all about gunning people down to get seats from whitey. Wait whut, we don’t know that… wtf am I thinking. Asshole shit himself, so he didn’t have to go to real live war but will yak like he is the commander of the 82nd Chairborne division, brig general, telling everyone else what they should be doing. I have nothing nice to say about Nugent, so I will stop here before I say anything else.

These people are whining about “Government intervention” and “dictatorships” now. If they actually tried an insurrection, the country would be under martial law before the second shot was fired. Then they would really have something to complain about. Unfortunately, everyone else would be suffering even more than they are now.

I agree that freedoms are being whittled away but their methods are not going to make it better.

I remember a quote by Dwight Eisenhower, back in the fifties.

Losing freedom is like slicing sausage. They cut off a little bit and that isn’t worth fighting over. Then another little slice is taken and that isn’t worth fighting over, either. Soon, all you have left is the string and that isn’t worth fighting over, either.

@Jim – I think there are some of them that would like for their groups to be taken more seriously as a national threat. People like Ted Nugent and his groupies are indeed more vocal now, and that is the way I like them. That keeps them “out there” in the lime light where we can see them. They would like us to think that they are drumming up an insurgency when in fact they are more like individual squirrels chattering about their nuts. For all the bluster coming out of most of the Second Amendment nuts they are not really willing to go toe to toe with the government forces to overthrow the government. All of these people and their groups are being monitored by government agencies and private watchdog groups. Long before they become a significant force they will be dealt with. Plotting against the government is a crime and can get one classified as a “terrorist” organization and we all know what happens then. I remember when the KKK had over 200,000 members and were making similar kinds of noises and we see where that got them.

We have no idea of precisely how seriously we should take these threats. But the fact that Nugent is articulating these ideas suggests there are many like him who do not have the platform or audience to say the same and be heard.

The “Guns to fight tyranny” movement is real. This Google search string will get you there: “2nd amendment tyranny” (no quotes)- or click this link: http://bit.ly/WtZ6IF

I am thankful that Nugent is both well-known and such a loud mouth. His rants give shape to a very real phenomenon boiling near the surface of the larger gun-control debate.

We MUST realize that, if we were to actually recall all assault weapons and large magazines, we might have to enter another civil war to accomplish the job. To me, that alone is enough reason to try to repeal and replace the 2nd Amendment with something far less focused on arming citizens to enable them to form militias to overthrow the Federal government. It’s time to smoke out these traitors in patriot garb and expose them for who they really are.

Ted Nugent is a talentless loser who needs to shut the fuck up already. I’m getting sick of seeing his face.

Come on, Greg, don’t bottle it up inside, let it out. You’ll feel better for venting your true feelings. 😉

You want more? Here’s more: How about the fact that Nugent is nothing more than a draft-dodging, child-molesting, animal-abusing drunkard whose greatest claim to fame is playing the guitar solo to the Damn Yankees’ “High Enough”?! The Secret Service needs to wango tango his stupid ass into a cell at Leavenworth! HE’S A TOTAL DICK!!!

I would like to hear his supporting evidence. He sounds like another no-nothing right-wing nut that claims Obama “is a dictator.” All that does is shown an abysmal ignorance of how things work in the USA. Ignorance and hate are the foundation stones of jerks like him.
