Jeb Bush may run in 2016

Read Time:1 Minute, 20 Second

Oh please! Not another Bush!  Hasn’t America had enough of the Bush Gang?  First there was Herbert Walker, and then the infamous George W. who’s legacy is evident in the eyes of the unemployed and the crumbling infrastructure all brought about by his feckless tax cuts.

While all of this was happening Jeb Bush, the brother who looks like his mother, was running the State of Florida.  In all fairness, other than the ludicrous, embarrassing Terri Schiavo incident, he didn’t do a poor job and isn’t an ideologue like his nutty brother.  Anything Bush, however, tends to polarize the electorate, and that’s something the country doesn’t need.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush won’t confirm he’s a candidate for the next presidential race, but he sounded like a White House hopeful Monday, declaring his party in need of leadership.

“I have a voice, I want to share my beliefs about how the conservative movement and the Republican party can regain its footing, because we’ve lost our way,” he told TODAY’s Matt Lauer.

Bush said he wouldn’t rule out a run in 2016, “but I won’t declare today either.”

Americans just can’t catch a break, and for the republicans another Bush is a gift from God, literally to many, while for democrats it’s ‘just another Bush,’ the thought of which, however, brings back those heady, horrible days of ‘George.”

Let him run. The base will not stand for it at all. Look how they passed the morons around at the last election. It will be a moot point, if Hillary throws her hat in.

I agree. I am confident that she will run unless she has a serious health issue or another candidate appears that is more likely to sweep the board. Right now, I see no one on the horizon but Hillary. Nor do I see any Democrat that is even likely to try against her.

Well there is Kirsten Gillibrand butI think Hillary needs to shatter the ceiling first. The Castro twins from Texas may have future goals, I know Gavin Newsome has been squeaking about it, but he would be as useless as me and I have the excuse I am not 35 yet to use.

Seems to be a lot of up and comers in the democratic party, where the republicans still have the same old same old retreads, old white, pasty straight?? Christianists like Bush, Huckabee, Rubio, Ryan and so on. Christie is way too moderate for them but we all know he is a wingnut in hiding, same thing with McDonnell from VA or Kasich from Ohio and Snyder, where he is from I forget. Another name being banded around by freepers is Scott Walker from Wisconsin. Ok, let him go and see what happens when people see how very right wing he is.

Given how the Republicans are doing their best to self-destruct by appearing stupidly intractable on all issues, in four years it may not matter who they run, it will be a sacrificial lamb to anyone the Democrats can get to volunteer to run.
