Christian Crazy: Man in the White House is the devil from Hell

The president of the Southern Baptist Convention, Crazy Christian Fred Luter, appeared recently on TruNews with nutty Rick Wiles, the Religious Right talk show host who is convinced President Obama is the devil from hell.
It seems Rick Wiles, so called ‘End Times’ broadcaster, has found more “proof” to bolster his case that President Obama is a demon: The History Channel’s “The Bible” miniseries. Reacting to charges that the character depicting Satan looks similar to Obama, Wiles believes “God guided the hand of the makeup artist and blinded the eyes of everybody on the movie set while it was being recorded” so that they wouldn’t see the resemblance.
Then, however, Wiles claims, God “removed” the “spiritual blinders” once “the program was broadcast nationally on the History Channel.” He concludes that this is yet another “clue” from Heaven that “the man in the White House is a devil from Hell.”
Wiles shared with Luter, equally as crazy, his theory that gay rights activists are to blame for North Korea’s threats to launch a nuclear strike against the US. Say what? Loopy Luter explained that while he is “not that strong in prophecy” he would not be surprised that there might be a connection.
“I would not be surprised that at the time when we are debating same-sex marriage, at a time when we are debating whether or not we should have gays leading the Boy Scout movement, I don’t think it’s just a coincidence that we have a mad man in Asia who is saying some of the things that he’s saying,” Luter said.

The man in the White House is the devil from hell? Blaming gays for the North Korean war threat? Hard to believe such rhetoric exists? Not really, at least not in America today. Our country is filled with whack jobs like these two loons, and it makes it tough to openly admit to being a “Christian.” Makes me glad I’m an atheist!

I agree with Rick wiles… everything Obama does is evil..he is liar! everytime he opens his mouth he lies… Satan is the father of lies..so pretty much means obama is a son of satan. he hates anyone who disagrees with him, he hates the constitution which is the foundation of our nation, he hates the military… etc etc. If anyone disagrees with him he puts them on a list..he is paying ppl to put out lies about people who tell the truth…like talk radio people who are Christians to make them look stupid..just like the writer of this article. Just because a christian has an opinion which is legit doesn’t make them an idiot or stupid! things are happening in the world… where are you??? what is good is called evil and evil is called good now! There are those who say it’s okay to kill a baby after it’s born, until it realizes it’s alive!! WHAT is that..but pure demonic thinking!! GMO’s and transhumanism thought is becoming accepted, which is totally against every thing a human is! Men playing God..to recreate something they have no right to! The “flock” will believe whatever shit these snake oil kooks tell them. In my life the “antichrist” has been everyone from JFK to Jimmy Carter to the Ayatollah KHomeini to Putin to Obama.
I knew a hoardof these fools in my teens who swore Gaul was Russia and it was in Revelation that they would attack us and they’d be taken to Heaven before the shit hit the fan. That Gaul was France didn’t matter as that wasn’t the shit they wanted to hear. They wanted to go to Heaven and everyone that wasn’t a simple minded sheep go to hell after being burned to death in nuclear war.
And they never admit they were wrong other than wrong about the date. You’d think a simple “oops” would be nice.
I often wonder whether people like these two actually believe what they are saying, and that’s when I remember my father telling me that he did not accept the concept that the Sun is a star until he was in his mid-thirties (which was in the early 1950s). This despite the fact that by the time he was born, the concept was known to have been suggested as early as 2400 years ago and had been accepted in the scientific community for eighty.
My father was neither stupid not uneducated; he had a masters’ degree in chemistry from a major university (received in 1939) and some grounding in physics as it was understood in the early twentieth century, yet refused to accept a scientific idea that had been mainstream for over a hundred years.
I could attribute it to the fact that all of his education had been from Catholic institutions, but Marquette University, where he earned his degrees, is run by Jesuits who have a reputation for not strictly adhering to church doctrine, especially in academic and scientific matters (their theological freethinking also extends to questioning church positions on social issues such as abortion, contraception, liberation theology and ordination of women). I’m sure he would have been exposed to then-current scientific concepts by teachers whose authority he accepted. While he seemed to accept the notion of the geological time scale, he remained a lifelong skeptic of evolution and even seemed to doubt intelligent design over strict creationism. While religious matters were not deeply discussed in our home, I recall his prejudices and am quite sure that were he still alive he would be more than ready to believe the worst about President Obama.
So when I’m faced with rank stupidity like this, I’d like to believe that it’s impossible for the things these nuts say to be anything but deliberately crafted lies*, but then I remember the things my father refused to accept and I’m not too sure of that.
*I sometime imagine that there’s a think tank that employs hordes of failed Hollywood screenwriters, storyboarders for cheap Japanese cartoons (e.g. Hero 108) and self-published authors of bad fiction. They crank (pun intended) out these batshit crazy theories for the likes of Fux News, Daily Caller, World Nut Daily and Michelle Malkin.

What James says is exactly right. There’s a lot of bangers in the world, and they are more than ready to part with their money to support such crazies.
As I have mentioned before, whenever you think theists have reached the ultimate in stupidity and arrogance about it, they show you that they can be far worse than you imagined.

I think for the scam artists saying it, it is all schtick. Unfortunately, it is aimed at the “true believers” that will accept it as fact and send donations to support the scammer’s “efforts to save us all.”
Not sure which is the lead story here. Obama is the devil or gays caused North Korean crisis? Some of the shit these people say is just downright certifiable. Good article.
