Oklahoma’s Bridenstine Doesn’t Disagree that Obama Needs to Be Executed

Read Time:1 Minute, 16 Second

Congressman Jim Bridenstine (R-OK) saw no need to rebuke or even disagree with a questioner who said that President Obama should be executed. This happened at a breakfast event with the Tea Party organization Tulsa 9:12 Project late last week.

In the event you don’t recall, Bridenstine made the ridiculous claim in 2012, as part of his campaign, that Atheists ran the congress and this is why America is so immoral.  In point of fact there’s only one declared Atheist in congress, while the rest are good Christians all. That, I expect, is the real problem as all the good Christian supporters voted this good, moral man into office.

Anyway here’s the question that was asked:

“Obama, he’s not president, as far as I’m concerned, he should be executed as an enemy combatant,” the questioner said, before asking the congressman about “the Muslims that he is shipping into our country through pilots and commercial jets” (a claim based on a bizarreright-wingconspiracytheory).

She went on to say:

“This guy is a criminal and nobody’s stopped him.”

Bridenstine didn’t respond to her call for the president’s execution, but he agreed that Obama is “lawless” and said he rules “by decree” and through the United Nations.  Wow. I’m not sure if Oklahoma isn’t crazier than Texas some days. Here’s the video of the event:

There’s hope, however, for Oklahoma’s rational thinkers, as a grass roots organization is seeking to unseat this lunatic in 2014. We wish them luck.

I am from Oklahoma and I am proud of my state most of the time. The problem here in ok is that most people do not vote. about the only ones who vote are already a tax burden.another reason we get nuts like bridenstein, mullins, and Inhofe is that they play toward the moral majority. If you check, most of the states that are solid republican have the lowest income and the highest illiteracy in the union. These states are like this on purpose.these republicans are carpetbaggers. The people in Oklahoma are good honest, hardworking and love JESUS.These carpetbaggers play on that. The people here are to gullible and to trusting. They believe everything they are told until they find out different.the problem is you can,t go in a bank, restaurant, doctors office or almost anywhere that, has not got a television playing fox news. There are more democrats in Oklahoma than republicans and yet the carpetbaggers rule.I pray things change and vote, that,s all I can do…oh yes,one more thing, all of our representatives and senators are millionaires…

When you’re out of the country and deliberately out of touch for a week or so and the first sort of things you hear when you settle down in front of the TV are stories — it’s like a punch in the stomach, it’s like ice water being dumped on you as you bask in the Caribbean sun.

Why aren’t Americans shocked and sickened by the rank insanity or our countrymen? Why do we go on talking about “da game” as though we weren’t in the middle of a zombie apocalypse? People who should be in straight jackets, in padded cells and in Hannibal Lector face masks are occupying public office and inciting other idiots to mayhem. How can there be enough crazies to keep them in office?

“I’m not sure if Oklahoma isn’t crazier than Texas some days.”
I’m a 5th generation Oklahoman. My response to your comment is “Yes”.
I’ve remained in Oklahoma because this is where my people are. We also have an excellent local music scene in Tulsa; and also, activists in a minority position tend to band together and work harder, partly because they have to.
“There’s hope, however, for Oklahoma’s rational thinkers, as a grass roots organization is seeking to unseat this lunatic in 2014.” Progressives do as well in Oklahoma politics as the Broncos did in last night’s Super Bowl. Bridenstine is considered a local hero.
