Toddler Kills Baby Brother With Unsecured Gun
The NRA wants everyone in America, including terrorists, to own and carry a gun, everywhere, at all times. They attempt to convince their following, more of a large cult than anything, that the boogie man is around every corner ready to do them harm, so carrying a gun is critical to your beating heart.
Not surprisingly the NRA and the craven politicians they own rarely comment on the thousands of accidental gun deaths that occur each year because of irresponsible gun owners and unwary children.
For example, two young brothers were playing in the Arizona apartment of their mother’s elderly friend yesterday when they found a gun. It took only seconds for the 3-year-old to accidentally shot his 18-month-old brother in the head, killing him.
Their mother says she went to find her sons no more than 15 minutes into the visit, per police; the gun went off just as she entered the room they were in, KTVK reports. The semi-automatic pistol was not locked up, Payson police say, and there were other weapons in the home.
“The apartment that this occurred in was a family friend of the mother and two children,” who “had slipped into another room unobserved by the mother and the 78-year-old occupant of the apartment,” the police chief says, according to KPHO.
A police press release noted they all live in the same apartment complex, and that the shooting occurred in a back bedroom. Police have served a search warrant, and are not ruling out charges against the mother or the friend.

Unlike James Brown I’m not ‘Living In America’ therefore nobody has shot me….Toddlers and guns?? Good grief!!!
Until the idiots who are pretending to run this country decide to pay attention to reason instead of their wallets this will continue. There needs to be some type of rational thought process put in place regarding owning and possessing a firearm. And, no, we can not check every home to see that every gun is secured, and we will not stop every illegal gun sale, but every journey has to have a starting place. Everyone that is a reasonably sane, non violent person that wants to own a firearm to protect his or her home should be able to do so with or without the Second Amendment. That is just plain common sense. But their needs to be steps to try exclude the mentally ill who are dangers to themselves or others, and those who have a history of violence. Similarly, a person should have to show a good reason to carry a gun concealed and should be required to immediately announce to any law enforcement officer that stops them of the fact they are carrying. Carrying a pistol openly is just plain ridiculous, we are not living in the old west any longer.

No idea James. I’ve no control over avatars.
James, I thought you making some kind of statement man.
No matter what gun laws and owner regulations are made, nothing will help the ultimate cause – human stupidity.
