Guess What Giuliani Said About Obama Last Night
Rudy Giuliani, the superman, who, according to him, single handedly saved all New Yorkers, and the nation from the aftermath of the 9/11 terror attack, has once again attacked Obama.
It was yet another private-dinner comment that is making the news, courtesy of Politico, which describes Rudy Giuliani’s remarks last night as going “straight for the jugular.” His target: President Obama. With Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and some five dozen execs and “media types” friendly to the GOP in attendance at the 21 Club dinner, Giuliani reportedly said the following:
- “I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America. He doesn’t love you. And he doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country. … With all our flaws we’re the most exceptional country in the world. I’m looking for a presidential candidate who can express that, do that and carry it out. And if it’s you, Scott, I’ll endorse you. And if it’s somebody else, I’ll support somebody else.”
Giuliani made several more Obama-related comments in a post-dinner interview; read them here. As for what Walker thought of the former mayor’s comments, we don’t know: His aides maintained that everything he uttered was off the record.

Not a nice guy indeed. A more vulgar person than I might call him a piece of shit, but why be rude to Rudy? It only helps cement his reputation as a right wing hero. In fact all you have to do to be a RWH is to bash Obama. No matter how stupid, ignorant and petty it is, it works.
Doesn’t anyone remember how Rudy shut down the subway going to the Brooklyn Museum and tried to close the place for exhibiting a piece of art that offended his religious sensibilities? He called it blasphemy as though that gave him the right to suspend the bill of rights — as though one man’s religion isn’t another man’s heresy.
Rudy is a piece of art himself, but of course by art I mean shit.
I remember the “love it or leave it” years when loving America meant something akin to unquestioning support for any and all military activities and the will to kill people for questioning the god and country rhetoric behind killing millions of people for no particular reason.
By Love, Rudy means something quite different from what most people mean and by being “raised different” he means one of his parents was black. Love is hate, war is peace, etc, etc.
Rudy is in love…with Rudy, and he can’t help himself. He touts himself as “America’s mayor” due to his actions during the 9/11 crisis. The NYPD, however, love to talk about what REALLY happened and it’s not the story Rudy wants told. They hate him for taking credit for virtually all of the brave actions of the first responders, and showering himself with praise for allegedly transforming NYPD. Rudy is not a nice guy.
You had a great bloke as President but your ‘system’ stopped him being great in reality. That wasn’t his fault.
What do I know? I’m just some limey eh?
America HAS a great bloke as President.
What do you know? No comment – I don’t like to be rude.
America HAS a great bloke as President.
Don’t know who you’re referring to?
as for ‘what do I know?’ I won’t be so rude as to comment.
Good point Jess. I’ll wager he will and make a fool of himself again. Remember when he just went to Florida in his last campaign? Thought he was a sure winner there?
Question is will they have room in this next election clown car, with all the other idiots running for him. They may have to upgrade to a small bus to hold them all.
A clown bus!
Dog whistle is strong with this statement. Wonder if he is going to try running again to boost the old coffers.
Well why are the libs beating their drums again? Why should Americans think otherwise? He is indecisive and afraid of terrorists, or he would be going after ISIS. No one is really sure he was even born in the US.
So are you saying that about Canada Ted Cruz when we know for certain he was born in Canada or is the whiter guy off the hook for being born somewhere else?
The only drum being beat here is that of Rudy’s head because his head and a drum contain the same thing … nothing. Rudy is just a talking head that tends to speak of things of he cannot prove. Love of this country? How does one prove how much they love this country. Old Rudy did not serve in the military so can I say that he did not love it as much as I who did?
On the other hand I guess G.W. Bush loved us a lot because he launched a war against Iraq that started all of this mess that was completely unnecessary. Think about it stupid, do you really think that if Saddam was still in power ISIS would have been able to invade Iraq. We had him contained but what was left of his military would have kicked ISIS’s ass.
You are absolutely correct Bill. I just saw an historical overview of ISIS and it began, along with many, many other terrorist organizations, after Bush and the gang invaded Iraq. They destabilized the Middle East.
Those flowers they were going to greet us with still haven’t showed up yet.
Yeah! Where ARE those flowers anyway?
In a storage locker somewhere along with the WMD.
Back in the “Obama Girl” days, she did one with Obama Girl vs. Giuliani Girl. It’s pretty good. I don’t still have the link – not sure it even still exists online – and I never post links in comments, because the spam-eaters complain. But I have it, and if you want to see it, I can upload it, or e-mail it.
You can post links here. It will go to the moderation queue, I will find it, and approve it. So here is good 🙂
