Hillary Thrives on Right Wing Hate

Read Time:2 Minute, 37 Second

Even though Hillary Clinton said release her emails last week the right is still demanding her emails be released. Of course we hate her but it’s mostly because she revels in our hatred. Nothing sticks to the Clintons.   Even Senator Feinstein told Meet the Press that Hillary should release her emails. It’s funny when the Left joins us as well as validating our strategy of fear and bullshit to make everyone bend to our will.

Hillary Clinton

The fact is we republicans love dirty secrets. They’re patriotic. Revealing them is treasonous and weakens America and emboldens those who want to destroy us and hate freedom yada yada…

The problem with our ‘hate on Hillary’ strategy is it hasn’t and will never work. The woman has as many secrets and dirty deeds as my hero Dick Cheney, and she is loved for it. My side even liked her when Obama nominated her for Secretary of State cause we knew she would have no problem sticking it to our enemies. Obama included. Even Rush Limbaugh once complimented her for having balls. America loves balls. Republicans love balls as long as they’re not used in some gay ritual.

Just as Franklin Roosevelt welcomed the hatred of the right, so does Hillary. It makes her stronger. There is virtually nothing we righties can do to convince anyone that doesn’t belong in our base of religious zealots, bigots and kooks not to support her, and worse for us, she can act without conscience. Too many do gooding lefties demand positivity and transparency and integrity. There is a moral line they won’t cross. Hillary isn’t cursed with such nonsense. She will stoop to whatever level my side will to achieve victory. Sad part is she won’t really have to stoop to anything dishonest as my side is guilty of some pretty nasty things but we did it for America so that makes them all legal.

The double whammy from Hillary is her husband. He loves being hated by the right also, and we accommodate him, but it hasn’t worked, and each morsel of hate we send his way makes Hillary even stronger.

Republicans need to ask themselves if Hillary bashing is accomplishing anything. They will continue doing it even though the answer is no. They refuse to listen. On the other hand it keeps our leadership from saying anything substantial a so it does serve a purpose. Linsdsay Graham is an idiot who’s never had an original thought in his head. Boehner is a joke. McConnell still looks weird and Cheney is trying to purge his new heart of any goodness it’s previous owner had.

So in keeping with our policy of being fair and balanced I guess Hillary bashing keeps them from saying really stupid stuff.   We just need to find other stupid things to say that will actually damage Hillary and placate our base so they don’t think we’re too smart.

There’s much more to come but you will have to wait until my next article.

I just stopped by to be certain I’d placed my “prediction” in writing here on Mike’s website. I predict with total confidence that Hillary Clinton will not be elected President. She is absolutely unelectable and her disaster of a news conference yesterday shows why. Well, the stupidity of the entire email controversy shows why, too. She will continue to shoot herself in the foot until election day if unopposed in the Primaries.

We need to find a good candidate now (although I think Republicans are so friggin’ stupid they’ll continue to try to hand the Presidency back to us with more stunts like the letter to Iran, but I digress).

I suggest Elizabeth Warren. I’m betting most of you here agree.

I love Elizabeth Warren but she cannot win. She does not have nearly the name recognition needed to win a national election, and “let’s nominate Warren” is precisely the thinking that will cost the democrats the WH. At present, if Hillary gets the nomination, the democrats will have a 50% chance of keeping the WH, if she does not the republicans will win. The rationale behind this thinking is that 84% of democrats are behind Hillary, meaning they will do all they can do to assure her victory. Without that there is no victory with an electorate where 6 out of 10 people think they want a change. Dems are notorious for looking gift horses in the mouth, and it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if enough deserted Hillary, as you are Bob, to hand the election to the republicans. To say Hillary is unelectable Bob means you aren’t reading the tea leaves. She’s the ONLY chance the democrats have of winning. That’s my two cents. Hillary 2016.

Thing about the Hillary-bashing is the inconsistency of it all. Hillary was the antichrist when it was taken for granted she would be the presumptive nominee in 2008. When she lost out to Obama in a classic example of cruel “be careful what you wish for” irony, she became a victim who was treated unfairly by the media and who was being “bullied by the mean black man” (with Ann Coulter claiming she would support Hillary over McCain should he get the nomination). Republicans went so far as to complain about her being denied the Vice Presidential slot.

She was virtually ignored by the GOP as Secretary of State, although what attention she did get at the time was fairly positive, with Republicans claiming she was “the only adult in the room” within the Obama Administration (which is probably an accurate statement), and with Christine O’Donnell even stating she wanted to change her registration to vote for Hillary after her handling of the WikiLeaks Scandal.

Come the 2012 election, the “poor qualified Hillary and mean unqualified Barack” meme reached an even higher pitch, with calls across the board from the GOP to have her replace Biden as the VP. She was even being featured in anti-Obama ads (“shame on you Barack Obama!”) Even the Benghazi outrage was more focused on Susan Rice’s harping on “the video” during her infamous media blitz and on Obama’s refusal to call the Libyan Embassy attack an act of terror in the Rose Garden. Only after the election did Hillary suddenly become the primary target for culpability in the Benghazi debacle.

So full circle now Hillary’s gone back to being the antichrist for Republicans pretty much. Go figure

I think that Hillary has played this pretty smart. She has stayed outside the direct line of forcing the Republicans to attack a non declared candidate not on her platform but only on what they have perceived as her mistakes. This has allowed her to pick her own time and place to to respond to the negativity and prepare for her run. When she announces a lot of the negatives that the Republicans will hit her with will seem like old news to voters.

This whole email nonsense is what it’s going to be like for Hillary the next two years, and even after. Republicans hate her as much as they hate Obama.

We need another Brit to chime in here, someone who has lived in both countries and knows the political machinations of both for a good comparison. No matter Joe this was a fine piece of work as usual.

Sadly Jack I suspect any likely Brits wandering by will be ‘of our left’ so don’t expect anything sensible eh? 😉

Spot on mind you. Great piece Joe.

Separate America’s right from Britain’s. Hilary Clinton is cool here as is Obama.

Your ‘left’ ain’t remotely ‘our’ left. Not remotely.

I think they’re close there Norman. Lived just outside of London for about 20 years, place called Golders Green, you know it? I was with our State Department so I got quite involved with English politics.

Close but no cigar mate. Not even that close. Golders Green is a cool place…largely a Jewish area. Had many a good night out there.

Wow Mark. I lived in Golders Green as a boy. What a coincidence.

Blair and Thatcher did whatever Reagan and Bush told them Norman. Big Ben would just be turning ahead for daylight savings time if we said so.

She’d be president now if she’d have cut a deal with President Obama in 2008 to name him to the Supreme Court if he didn’t run.

Now Joe where did you hear that? Come on now 🙂 I do love your latest submission though. Has Mike given you that raise yet?
