So What’s Not To Like About A Meaningless Appendage?
So look, I’ve been biting my tongue trying to tell you to stop starting all your sentences with “so.” So my tongue hurts, so I’m saying it now. So stop it. It’s a meaningless appendage, like those flaps they attach to the rear of those “crossover” things. Yes, I mean those truck-like cars that look like baseball caps and not someone who changes political parties. “So” is becoming the new “like” and God knows, that couldn’t like stop any too soon for me.
So like I’m still wasting my time reminding you that genius isn’t an adjective and a genius is the last thing you sound like with all your “genius” ideas and recipes and cupcakes and all, but you can stop that too, thank you very much. So I guess I’m like talking to myself here as it is, trying not to hear about all the impacting going on and apparently it’s as bad as that bombardment period a few billion years ago when everything had an impact and a negative effect resulted. I guess you could call it the impactful period and feel genius about it but I wish you’d stop. Talking like an idiot spoils the whole genius image you’re trying to impact us with.

Glenn, you left off a couple “so”‘s above, so you really need to work on it 🙂
I know what you’re saying about “like”! My husband and still do that, but I’ve been trying subtly to cure him of it; any bets on my success? (Yes, and I know, if you don’t love the partner even with the faults, then you should never have married him/her! NEVER count on changing your spouse!)
So, I’m reading that you want us to stop using so as our first words. So, in that case I might just do that. So, sorry not sorry I won’t be doing it because I thought about it.
