Donald Trump: Using Bullshit To Keep the Hounds At Bay

I admit when it comes to Trump I am trying ever so hard to not shrug my shoulders and just wander off and enjoy life and sod him. It’s not easy though is it? Every time I turn on the TV news or open a newspaper there he is, stupid haircut and all.
How and why did this happen? No idea, neither have you and, I strongly suspect, has anyone including Trump himself. It’s so surreal it’s almost as if I’ve gone to sleep and woken up in a parallel world or something. Weird.
The thing is though, is there a plan? Has Trump actually got an agenda? If he has, what the fuck is it?
I’ve started reaching the conclusion that Trump supporters actually don’t care as long as he’s going to do something about these damn Muslims.
He can say or do anything he wants and they just don’t care because he’s going to do something about the damn Muslims and that is all that matters.
Am I right? Are Trump supporters really only concerned with Muslims?
All right. Let’s give some of them the benefit of the doubt. Certainly there are clear difficulties regarding Islam and Muslims. Islam does seem to be a rather unfriendly religion when it comes to alternate religions. The majority of terrorists lately seem to be, or claim to be, Muslim. I get that. I can understand people being concerned about the apparent rise of Islam when Islam often seems so alien and unfriendly.
I can understand some being genuinely worried and frightened by Islam, Muslims and the terrorist connection. That’s a natural and understandable place to be right now but really? That fear means anything Trump says or does doesn’t matter?
Well, that seems to be where we are – at least it does to me.

These are not accurate quotes. I suppose I should have Googled for accuracy but, frankly, I don’t want to waste much of my life on Trump so couldn’t be bothered as I know that you know they are close enough anyway.
This maniac is the president of the USA and I am desperately trying not to worry too much. He claims to be a chronic Anglophile and I find myself hoping that he is so, whoever he ends up nuking, it won’t be us.
Could he really end up nuking someone? I don’t know. I hope not. I’m assuming there are ‘people’ in places of authority who wouldn’t let it happen but I don’t know. Do you?

Deflecting that’s what. He’s the great deflector.
Russian contacts? – BANG ‘Obama tapped my phone’. Sexually assaulting women? BANG ‘I’ll build a wall to keep out Mexican rapists.’
That’s what he does. There’s a Sword of Damocles appearing above him and BANG ‘bullshit bullshit bullshit’ and guess what? The news covers the bullshit and the ‘sword of Damocles’ vanishes.
Is that his plan? Use bullshit to keep the hounds away? Stay President through bullshit so he can stay President because all the Russian stuff vanishes as he pours bullshit after bullshit into the media and they swallow it?
Well, if that’s his plan then, in a weird way America, you’re in more trouble than I realised.
Let’s face it. If I’m right and a dumb English northern bloke like me can see it then you have a President who can’t even come up with bullshit that fools even me.
Mind you. Perhaps it’s a double bluff. Maybe he’s the next Mother Theresa.
Now that is true bullshit – and I didn’t even plan it!

Yes. He could end up nuking someone. He has no understanding of the real world or the suffering that is commonplace. In his world desperation is something he feels when Arnold Schwarzenegger tweets at him, and he can’t immediately respond. The man is a fool, and a monster who has the power to destroy our world.
