Stop the Hate: Unite Against Trump and His House of Horrors

I’m in a lot of Facebook (FB) groups. I don’t even really know how many FB groups I’m a member of. Needless to say, many of those groups are dedicated to the overthrow of the man in the White House. Others are simply anti-Republican, but may or may not be necessarily pro-democrat. And of course, some are all about cats playing pianos.
One such group just posted a video of Trump supporters saying they will continue to support Donald even in the face of overwhelming evidence that he’s a liar, a paranoiac, and a Russian spy.
What was most interesting, in the video – to me – is that they don’t refute any of the charges. They simply don’t care. Now, every one of those interviewed was all bedecked in American flag regalia and USA#1 hats. They don’t think life under a Russian dictator, or a corrupt con man is as bad a thing, as “Liburlism.” Patriotism no longer means what Webster or the OED define it as. Now, it means Fascist chauvinism and apologism. But it also means “I hate me some Libtards. Libtards are worse than Russian gangsters.”
Now, here’s the thesis statement of this soliloquy. Sure enough – in the comments section – was a bunch of “Hillary-Benghazi-emails-body double-she killed 99 people” – bullshit. But, here’s what’s worth noting:
On The Rachel Maddow Show, last night, she did a report on Russian Bots that were employed during the campaign, to troll websites that wrote pro-Hillary articles. One of the keywords those bots responded to, was “socialism.” Rachel ends the report by noting that the Bots are still active. This particular post was laced with the word.
Look. Democrats, Independents, Berners, and anyone else who’s anti-Trump, Progressive, or even Center-Left, we need to get on one page. If you absolutely can’t stand the idea of Hillary, because you’ve bought into the same propaganda that the Republicans have been spewing for decades, and the Russians have been automating for the past 2 years, then I get that. But we need to shit or get off the pot. 2018 is coming, and we either make some loud changes, or we pack for an Australian Winter.
But the first thing we need to do is to stop listening to the other side’s lies. Just stop. Republicans lie. That’s what they do. And Russians package and sell those lies better than anyone else on the world stage. So, our only defense is to stop listening. Do some actual research. Educate yourself and learn the truth. As some White guy said once, “The Truth will set you free.”

Great title and story.
I guess, about a year ago – maybe two – a Russian security dude, at a private conference for other Russian security dudes, said that the Russians have developed a new way to weaponize information technology. He stated that this new form of warfare would be more effective than nuclear weaponry. That statement is proving eerily prescient. 2018 is our only hope of saving this nation. The current Congress will do nothing to stop Trump – being part of the same covert Russian plan. What we need to do, if we want to end Trump’s reign is to cleanse Congress in a truly Jacobin fashion. If you have an “R” next to your name – good, bad, or neutral – you’ll be saying, “Damn. ‘yuge’ mistake, cutting unemployment benefits.”
I couldn’t agree more! Burn ’em out! No more “R’s” in the people’s house!
