Shame on you, America-Shame on you

Read Time:43 Second

by David P. Greenberg

You get the government you deserve. What the fuck is wrong with this country? You people don’t really want healthcare. You don’t want clean air and clean water. You don’t want racial and gender equality. You just want stupid, Bible thumping, selfish, secretive, hateful, autocratic, moralizing, hypocritical, criminal, treasonous leadership.

You had not one, but two chances to make a statement about the direction your country is going in, and you just couldn’t pull the fat from the fire. You screwed the pooch. And it’s not the first time, and it won’t be the last.

You deserve Republican autocracy, and you deserve the Putin-led Banana Republic government you have. You’re gonna have Trump for another 20 fuckin’ years And you’re gonna have Mitch McConnell at least until he turns 100.

Shame on you, America. Shame on you.

I think I made a comment about this on another post. This is like thinking people against robots. Robots simply act they way they are programmed. They do not question the potential outcome of anything. Donald Trump is president, need I say more. Democrats take too much time thinking and before you know its over. However, if we are addressing the elections recently one must consider that the positions being challenged were solid Republican strongholds. Did Osshof let anyone down, I don’t know. That was the most expensive fill in race probably in history. Both parties spent and enormous amount of money on the Georgia race and the Democrat came up 4 points short. That may be a blessing in disguise. The Republicans are going to get this god awful health care bill passed in some form that is going to really screw over a lot of people. That means that a lot of Republicans will have to try to defend it in the elections next year. This will also be a referendum on Donald Trump’s presidency and the promises that have been broken or or never fulfilled. But I think, as one of the talking heads put it yesterday, this may be a short term victory for the Republicans but a loss in the long term for them. It is difficult to beat the Republicans money but the coming disaster will be laid right at their feet.

Trump once said that he could shoot somebody in the middle of Times Square and he’d still win the election. I would not have believed that a year ago. Now, I’m not so sure.

Hi, is Neil active in this area? I am looking for information about Eugene Dolega. In a further Post, Neil wrote about him. I have some questions.

We have to remember these are republicans, and they are fiercely loyal. They could have run a blue duck and it would have won. That’s the way they are. They think not with their minds but with their black, right wing hearts.

I can tell that you’re not a man to be taken lightly. Is that untrue? Are you not a man to be taken lightly? You’ve got so many double negatives going on in that comment, I can’t tell if you agree or disagree.

Really David? The man made a statement, he didn’t attack you. I’m surprised and disappointed.

No. I was kidding, Michael. I didn’t take any offense, and I hope he didn’t. I just couldn’t figure out if he was saying he agreed or disagreed. Dan, if you felt ill-used by my reply, you have my apology.

Just getting back to reading this. Yeah, I said that rather clumsily. And Sarcastically. I am on board with what you said. What I meant is that I wish it wasn’t happening and I didn’t have to agree with you. Better? If not I can try harder.

No prob. I just have a thing about double negatives. I even chastise myself when I catch myself using them. I’ve been a friend of MadMike’s for quite some time. Glad to meet you.
