Pastor Tells Trump and His Nazis: I Am Not With You!

Read Time:2 Minute, 42 Second

by  Dr Mark Bear

Remember the conservative argument which was total BS that Barack Obama was the “Divider In Chief.” Do tell me: Where are those people now?

How many of you liberals remember President Obama making a statement in 2009 regarding a professor getting arrested on his front steps with then President Obama saying “the officer acted stupidly.”

The conservative media did what, with that? Yeah, that’s right! They used it to further their BS claim of what really bothered them about then President Obama, didn’t they? Oh, “He didn’t love “Murika,” they cried out, and “Oh he ain’t one of us,” and “Oh he hates cops,” and “Oh he is trying to bring retribution back onto the White population for something our ancestors did.”

Surely, you all remember them furthering their narrative, don’t you? Because I DO! And I knew then, what their real issue was, not only because I live in the Deep South, but because I heard it with my own two ears.” But I was told, “You are playing identity politics,” right? Wrong! If calling out wrong is bad then you tell me what is right?

Sadly, the rest of the story is lost on the American people writ large, because there are still people who believe that Obama divided this nation. Seriously. Yet, you go look at how that story about the police officer and professor ended.

Then President Obama was RIGHT to bring up the issue because racial profiling is a fact which takes place in this country, doesn’t it. Any reliable statistic will show this, but no, further the false lying narrative is what the media did. And conservatives were front and center to run with it, weren’t they?

So, how did that entire story end? Simple! Then President Obama sat down with both the arresting officer and the professor over beer. And those two – the officer and the professor – planned to meet again. Wow! So divisive, wasn’t he?

Now, you compare that behavior with the current President. Compare THAT with the fact that he plans to go to Arizona and has sent out a Tweet telling the good citizens of Arizona that “he is considering pardoning the Sheriff Joe Arpaio,” ya know the guy who “violated a court order” against engaging in racial profiling? Yeah, compare that behavior. Where is the outcry from our conservative friends?

And please: Spare me the liberal side that this is engaging in identity politics. Wrong is wrong. Period.

To borrow those conservatives words: “We are either with them or we are against them.” Isn’t that what they said when they decided to bomb the heck out of Iraq and we called foul? We were either with them, or against them. Those are their words.

In matters such as this, where the current occupant has shown not only sympathy but a proclivity towards these people who went to Charlottesville with evil intent, let me say I cannot be with them. I am NOT with them.  Here is why: The very faith these people “say” they have, I DO HAVE! And my Bible tells me it is wrong. Period!

Trump is a loser of the first order, and he’s never going to change. Not ever, and the faster everyone learns that the better off they will be.

If there is one thing that will stand out about Donald Trump’s presidency in my mind it is that he was able make cowards out of some many otherwise powerful people. People who are considered to be leaders are afraid to stand up and say that he is wrong and screwed up. It is not because they fear the power of the presidency because they have stood up against other presidents, but because they fear someone like Trump with the power of the president. He is mean, spiteful, and will anything at his disposal to get even for even the smallest slight against him. Yes, he is that small of a person.

Apparently you are in the minority Mark. As I understand it most of your fellow pastors have yet to condemn this monstrous man for his racially divisive remarks. I am glad, you and a few others, have come out against him, and hope you continue to do so.
