Pit Bulls Save Children From Venomous Snake

Read Time:24 Second

While pit bulls might sometimes get a bad rap, these two pups are being hailed as heroes after they rescued a youngster from a copperhead snake. Last week, Slayer and Paco the pit bulls were playing in the yard of their home with their owner’s grandchildren: 4-year-old Zayden and 1-year-old Mallory. style=”display:inline-block;width:300px;height:250px” data-ad-client=”ca-pub-8420654331411867″ data-ad-slot=”1313712966″> As the…

My daughter has her second pit bull and both have been as sweet as the can be. However, if you to keep the snakes and rodents at bay put out food for feral cats. First, that actually attack the snake’s food source and, secondly, feral cats will kill snakes much more effectively than dogs.

Pit bulls do have an awful rep but that is usually because the owners are assholes. My best friend has a pit and this dog is the calmest, sweetest animal on 3 legs. Yeah poor thing is a tripod due to abuse at an early age but just so loving, even likes my cats which is hard to do. I sometimes hate those little bastards.

Yeah they do but they can also be treacherous little bastards at times.

Mine is also a calm, sweet little guy, but not when strange dogs are anywhere near him. If he can see them he goes nuts. If we’re on a walk it gets to be a real pain as he lunges for dogs three times his size.

Dogs are generally only vicious if they’ve had bad owners treating them badly or training them to be.

However, I believe in breeding for purity can cause viciousness too in some breeds?

Dogs aren’t vicious without human interference.

I’ve a pit mix, and, while not aggressive toward people, he’s very aggressive toward other dogs. I in no way taught him or encouraged him to do this. In most cases, however, you are right.

Possibly genetic? In breeding in his ancestors? I’m told this can be a cause of instinctive aggression.

Mind you, I’ve 9 cats so what do I know? ????
