I am doing the lazy man’s Xmas this year. My cousins, nephews and niece are getting cold hard cash in a card. My aunts are getting a trip to a spa, gift certificate and the extended family are getting wine and chocolates from See’s candies. I am not thinking about the holidays at all this year.

Why is it called ‘black friday’ and why’s it come over here?
Bad enough we’ve got McDonald’s and Halloween!
Please confine yourselves to only sending Britain sensible things.
    Thank you. 😘

it is supposedly the day that the stores go “in the black” on the accounting books and it is a terrible time of… people just being rude, obnoxious and nasty so they can get that plastic doo dad that costs under a dollar.

Crazy times. Friday after holiday. Like Jess said lots of rude obnoxious people who act like they would kill you to save a shilling.
