Inspired protesters chanted “traitor,” “Hey hey, ho ho, Donald Trump has got to go,” and “Lock him up,” the latter a reference to the president’s supporters chanting “Lock her up” about his then-rival Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Protesters also chanted “Lock him up” at fired National Security Adviser Michael Flynn when he left the courthouse Friday after pleading guilty to lying to the FBI about his contact with a former Russian ambassador.
It is unclear whether the protesters in New York were referring to Trump or Flynn in their chants. Flynn was known for encouraging the chants about Clinton, once remarking that had he done “a tenth of what she did,” he “would be in jail today.”
There’s a delicious irony in Flynn’s guilty plea and Trump’s anxiety over that plea. It seems “lock her up” is rapidly changing to “lock him up” meaning both Flynn and Trump. The day is coming, at least roughly 62% of America hopes that’s the case.
Lock him up!
