I told you guys, my best friend the leper was laid up with this and has been sick for, it seems like months now, it’s only weeks but still. It’s a nasty one and so far I have avoided it and if I can, I keep planning to avoid it.
I’m terrified of this one, for some reason. I guess the fact that I’m wallowing in the Petri Dish five days a week at Kent State adds to that unhappiness. At least I got the flu shot and that’s supposed to help a bit.
Wear a mask, when you are out and about. It’s the new fashion right now, nope not even joking about that Mike. I’m seeing people all over the place here wearing surgical masks.
I thought about it, and then did the research which claims if you aren’t sick wearing the mask does little to prevent one catching the flu, but, if you are sick wearing the mask can prevent you from infecting others. Didn’t make a lot of sense but there it is.
I ordered a disposable hazmat suit to be sure, also just to fuck with my best friend. I’ll be starting a whole new trend in fashion, I am sure of it. I’m seeing him and his bf for dinner tonight and I am wearing it to meet him over my outfit, he has no idea but his boyfriend does and thinks it’s funny as hell the way he and I go back and forth messing with each other like brothers and sisters do. I really like this boyfriend of his and hope he can keep him longer than the 9 month cutoff he typically has for guys. He will laugh and maybe that will finally end him, when he can’t catch a breath.
