Read Time:19 Second

He’s a Holocaust denier, he’s a white supremacist, and he’s set to get the Republican nomination for a major congressional seat in Illinois. I doubt many have seen any sort of Christian morality, more like amorality I suspect. While some Christians are good and decent people, there are good and decent people regardless of the dark smudge of religion. In 200 years I expect there will be new gods, and new silliness to worship. Most religions will be considered on the fringe, and not part of the mainstream, which they are today. If we can all wait 200 years we may well be rewarded for our patience.

Christian morality. The concept reaffirms the human, transitory and arbitrary source of morality, Christian and otherwise. Human because ever book ever written on this planet was written by humans, transitory because even their “holy” book changes substantially in moral precepts from one age, one chapter to another – and arbitrary because when the Koran accepts a 12 year old as Mohammad’s wife, Christians call it immoral.

Christianity is not a religion, There is no definition of Christianity that includes all the forms of Christianity nor any authority to argue for it. Anyone can call himself a Christian – even an atheist, so basing moral judgments on being a Christian is meaningless and calling a much altered and stitched together collection of writing the word of any god is fraudulent. Giving your daughter to rapists, giving your wife to another to maintain the fiction that she’s your sister, murdering the infants of your enemies and so much more. . . No it’s idolatry, worshiping a collection of fables as though it were a god itself and using it to justify suffering and subjugation and aggression and torture and murder would damn the God it purports to belong to – if he existed.

Insert Jake and Elwood having a discussion about hating Illinois Nazis right about here. Guess the goopers don’t want to learn lessons after all, so this will be an easy pick up, not only because of this but this district is deep dem territory.

It will be an easy pickup and a clear message to those who care that the GOP continues to sink in the muck.

I don’t think they do care Mike, that is the problem.
I just read about a guy in Michigan running for state office, gooper obvs, that said it was ok for men to be with girls as young as 12 because in the buybull it speaks of that being a ok with men marrying young girls. Said that women do not understand, from the beginning this was ok and that we women are the sick ones if we cannot get a grip on reality, it’s normal and part of the DNA supposedly. I think he may have quit but his name is something something Saari. We are also supposed to not be sick and disgusted that men find 12 year old girls attractive, because the men really are not that disgusting at all in this dude’s mind. I can’t wrap my mind around what type of mind thinks being with kids is okay, like this dude, because I AM FUCKING SANE.

This sort of thinking is Roy Moore redux when his MILLIONS of supporters invoked the Buybull to justify his being elected to the US Senate. We live in a world that rocks and rolls with crazy, and I don’t think the music will stop anytime soon.
