The Trump And Farage Show

Read Time:2 Minute, 3 Second

by Neil Bamforth

Former UKIP leader Nigel Farage popped up on Fox recently to make the quite valid point that decades of poor immigration controls had stretched Britain’s infrastructure to breaking point. It clearly has and it is not racist nor xenophobic to state the fact. It only becomes racist or xenophobic if you blame the immigrants.

Farage made a valid point that was clear, correct and concise. President Trump latched onto his comment and hit his Twitter page showing, yet again, that he, Trump, wouldn’t understand accuracy and truth if it fell on his silly head.

Farage’s simple, honest and truthful point was underscored when he gave Britain’s National Health Service as a good example. The NHS is struggling to cope with the demands placed on it.

It would be quite true to say the ambition of the Conservatives to privatise it doesn’t help. Neither does the absurd ‘austerity’ measures the Conservatives have had in place for almost a decade.

However, the primary difficulties faced by the NHS are brought about by the numbers of people requiring their services.

So, Farage was quite right. Far too many immigrants over several decades equal far too many people for our terribly poorly underfunded infrastructure to cope with.

Bizarrely, Trump then took to Twitter based on Farage’s comments and claimed ‘thousands of Brits are marching against the NHS’.

What? Excuse me? Did he actually listen to Farage’s comments?

The march was actually against the Conservative austerity cuts adversely affecting the NHS.

On the planet Trump, it appears, the ‘truth’ is whatever nutty thoughts are currently bouncing around inside his head.

If it isn’t the view of planet Trump it’s fake news.

It’s not that I’m surprised that Trump is twittering gibberish, it’s just that I’m surprised he’s even misquoting people he’s supposed to like.

Nigel Farage invariably speaks favourably when questioned about Trump – see? I do disagree with Farage sometimes 😜 – and yet Trump seems to be oblivious that he’s tweeted absolute rubbish.

Trump is wrong. Nobody is marching against the NHS.

Farage is right. Our infrastructure cannot cope with the numbers, particularly our NHS.

Two men, seemingly members of a mutual admiration society yet one has no idea whilst another has many excellent ideas.

Leave planet Trump, Nigel. Britain can’t afford for you to lose credibility.

We need you, nobody needs Trump.

We have the same trouble here too Neil. Millions of illegals stealing jobs and hospital waiting rooms. The American people are in denial just like some of your Brits Neil. Keep up the writing and telling the truth.

Aw shit, I missed all the reporting that was done on hospital waiting rooms being stolen. when they were stolen, where were they taken to for hiding, how did they hide them, what states have they been stolen from etc. Where can I find this information, it could prove helpful in the future.

Farage is a pig, just like Trump, which is why they are pals. If there were ever a “birds of a feather” scenario this is it, although Farage seems to hate dogs so he probably hates birds as well.

As a matter of fact check this out:

Now Caroline will be added to the list of people that are all mean to Neil 🙂 It’s an ever growing list but Bobbie seems to head it and that makes me a tiny bit jealous.

Farage left UKIP after Brexit so has nothing to do with current policies….and I doubt that’s genuine. Even if they believed it they wouldn’t be dumb enough to broadcast it.

He didn’t call Obama that. The Evening Standard had to publish an apology for claiming he did. The newspaper is edited by former Conservative Chancellor George Osborne – Cameron’s right hand man. They hate Farage with a vengeance.

He’s certainly not perfect and I don’t always agree with him but I can assure you that, whatever he is, he isn’t racist.

Don’t believe everything you read.

Neil, like Mike, I really don’t believe “everything you read” but should we not believe any of THESE outlets?

You see there’s this:

and this

Sorry old bean but the “don’t believe everything you read” admonition just won’t work here I’m afraid. There are lots and lots more sites reporting the same thing by the way. I’m just sayin’ as they say 🙂

Ah! Yes! Apologies! I’d forgotten about that…Obama popped over and told us we’d be dumb to leave the EU. Farage was well annoyed at him. Yes quite right, I’d forgotten that.

Personally I like and respect Obama hugely – see, I really do disagree with Farage when he’s wrong – but Obama possibly boo-booed saying that.

It backfired a bit and possibly upped the leave vote a small bit – Brits are notoriously prickly at any non-Brits telling em what to do.

I knew he’d said it with the best of intentions but many were a bit cross.

Still, Farage went OTT with that response.

I still maintain he isn’t racist though. Outspoken yes but not racist.

Hmmm, Obama says a thing and people get upset with him. Trump goes over says a thing about staying, on twitter, he dogs your NHS, he says there are roving bands of bad people, he says terrorists are everywhere but that’s ok with some of the people there. Like here, Obama says a thing and people get tweaked, I just wonder what it could possibly be that makes one of them saying something people get upset, the other says something and people don’t. I am sure it will come to me what the difference is.

Most Brits consider Trump a duck so we don’t waste time getting upset with him…or even bothering about him outside of hoping he doesn’t start WWIII.

Obama, on the other hand, most of us like and respect.

Therefore, Trump says some’at we don’t like we don’t care as we don’t care about him.

Obama says some’at we don’t like we’re upset cause we like him.

Maybe they need to start taxing those what have all the money more, to help out those what do not have the money you know the poors. Needs to be done here also. Farage is a moron just like dolt 45, racist, bigoted pigs both of them.

I have to disagree there. Farage is neither racist nor bigoted.

He is politically right wing granted but it doesn’t follow he is also racist etc.

You’d be surprised how many British Asians particularly agree with his immigration views.

Controversial perhaps but not racist.

Well you would say that wouldn’t you Neil, what with you being a UKIP fella and all that? Farage is Britain’s Trump, and would be worse, but I don’t think he’s quite as stupid as the president, which makes him just dangerous. British Asians agree? What? Why would you even say that? Do ya think we’re bloody stupid there Neil?

Shirley I think him not being stupid is even more dangerous than dolt45. He can articulate his racist point of view and make it look like he is not spouting a racist point of view. Dolt45 just puts it all out there, with a dog whistle for certain segments of society to hear and hear they do.

That could be true Jess, I know Farage is like Trump with his denials, but also like your Trump nobody believes him. Another bloody liar he is.

Many 2nd, 3rd etc generations of immigrants agree that we now have too many people here for our infrastructure.

Increasing numbers of British Asians, British African Caribbeans and so on are as concerned about immigration numbers as anyone else.

All our lives are adversely affected.

Do you happen to have a link to this old bean? I’m sincerely interested, then again you could write an article with links about it because uncontrolled immigration is a problem that affects us all.

I’ll do an article old bean. The first survey amongst British Asians views on immigration was, I think, in the mid 90’s.

If memory serves around 50% said immigration controls needed updating and hardening.

Anyway….I’ll do the research / links etc and article it
