The stifling of free speech is the hallmark of Republican politics, they can deny it all they want — and the do want — but it’s true. Their owners and handlers want protection from the public and they get it.

I will bet that nearly everyone wants to know who contributes what and to whom, yet we’re bamboozled into parroting garbage about corporate rights and we defend our own repression.
