As Trump Rejoices McCabe Slams ‘false, defamatory, and degrading’ Attacks

President Trump expressed his delight on Twitter Friday night after news broke of the firing of former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe:

Trump has continually targeted McCabe for criticism over his wife’s Democratic congressional run, alleging corrupt campaign practices linked to McCabe’s position. The FBI has released documents showing Trump’s allegations are unfounded.

In the meantime, McCabe issued a lengthy statement slamming the “false, defamatory, and degrading” allegations to which he and his wife have been subjected, and which Trump’s “tweets have amplified and exacerbated.”

“The big picture is a tale of what can happen when law enforcement is politicized, public servants are attacked, and people who are supposed to cherish and protect our institutions become instruments for damaging those institutions and people…”

…he argued, labeling his firing

“part of this Administration’s ongoing war on the FBI and the efforts of [Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia] investigation…”

…as well as evidence of the investigation’s necessity.

McCabe is sitting there with his coffee saying, I’ll get you and your little dog too because I know things.

I feel bad for Mr. McCabe. This just is not right. It is mean. Like a cat playing with a mouse, they hung the poor bastard out right uo to the last minute just to make it ugly. I hope that he appeals and the dismissal is reversed as discriminatory. The man deserves his retirement.

In the meantime, I hope he sing, tells everything he knows about Trump and Pence, the campaign, the kids, Conway and Sessions, to Mueller, to Congress and to the American people. I hope when he is done he is well paid by the media and for books he’ll write. and then when he is through with them they all spend their retirements incarcerated at Leavenworth.

I agree with you Glenn, God damn Donald Trump.

When Hitler entered German politics, he was seen as someone not to worry too much about – a fringe character who might just disappear. We can’t take this threat to truth, freedom, justice and world peace as anything less than a severe, clear and present danger.

I don’t pretend to understand human nature or why people fall for this sort of thing over and over. The ability to create fictitious and exaggerated enemies, whether they be sinners, Capitalist Raoders, Elders of Zion, Goldstein’s Brotherhood, McCarthy’s Red menace or Trump’s “deep state” — It’s an ancient and unconquerable enemy. He’s gathering power, gathering support and if he succeeds, it will be the end of hope.

God damn Donald Trump
