How many times have I said: this isn’t happening! This can’t be real!
I think it’s a normal, if temporary reaction when confronted with disaster, but of course we know it’s really happening and we’re going to have to cope with it all too soon. Denial is normal when you’ve just been given a terrible diagnosis when you hear that someone you care about has died; you just lost ten grand on some stock because of a Trump tweet or someone you don’t care for has been elected president. Say it ain’t so! No! I don’t believe it!
Yes, you do and you don’t expect to be able to change reality by declaring it didn’t happen. Unless you’re a psychotic or a Republican. Presto chango and wave the wand. All’s quiet on the border.

…said the Secretary of Trumpland Security and Doubletalk this morning. That picture of the two-year-old girl screaming in terror must have been faked by the Democrats and liberal media, (what about Hillary?) because after all, Sessions was just repeating an order by Obama even though it didn’t happen anyway. Sure Trump could reverse it in an instant, but why, since it’s easier to deny and blame. It’s the law after all even if it isn’t. It’s Obama even though it isn’t. And what about drugs and MS-13 and Hillary’s emails? Lock that kid up! She’s really a paid actress hired by the Liberal Press.
Those children are being treated well she says. There’s no abuse (no collusion either ) and if she’s crying it’s because of the Democratic policy launched by Trump via Jeff Sessions or maybe she’s afraid Hillary will sell her body parts out of a pizza parlor somewhere next to a Planned Parenthood facility.
Nielsen’s own office reported this weekend that 2000 children have been taken so far, but no, it didn’t happen – it can’t be, so it didn’t. But it did, it’s all the same. It never happened.

I find myself in tears on an hourly basis with this latest action from these assholes from dolt45 down. Methinks that teary Jess is going to have to stop being online for a while, I just cannot deal with this at all because my heart is truly breaking for these parents and I don’t even have kids to truly capture the horror of it all. I just read an article that Bill Nelson tried to get into one facility in Florida and he was denied after speaking with the person in charge, DHS told him to come back in two weeks. I imagine so they can go fix up the place like the Germans did in their ghettos many years ago when Red Cross went in to see how they were treating people during forced bussing to camps and I truly believe that is what we are seeing, concentration camps for kids. That and turn around, we see pictures of beds with blankets and stuffed animals instead of the reality that are chain link cages and foil emergency blankies for these kids. It is way horrific for me, just a bridge too far.
DHS told Nelson that he, and others who wanted to visit the facility, would have to apply formally and wait two weeks before expecting approval or not. How ridiculous is that? I’ve never seen anything like this, and I didn’t know America had so many people who do “like this.”
I know right? then we have Jefferson Beauregard Sessions the littlest racist Keebler elf yakking about, we’re not like the Nazis because they wanted to keep Jews from leaving the country. Sorry but if that is your argument, you have fucking lost the debate and the humanity within you.
Aye! They’ve lost their humanity alright, and in Trumpland the colour of your skin determines who gets what and why. Sorry America, I truly am.

You know the thing that gets me the most is that reptile Sessions telling us that this government was chosen by god and must be obeyed without question.
Wasn’t there some sort of revolution where people died to refute that notion of divine right of kings? That cynical little piece of Scheisse, has one purpose in mind and that’s to hold children hostage until he gets his wall. For all their mock reverence for the flag it’s just another Pavlovian trick to make the peasants support the nobles.
I keep saying it, there are no principles, no ideals, and the only difference between these gangsters and the Mob is. . . well, nothing.
