Trump Won’t Sign G-7 Statement, Blasts ‘Weak’ Justin Trudeau
The end of the G7 summit wasn’t marked by international harmony, to say the least. After departing Canada, Trump labeled Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau “dishonest & weak” on Twitter and said the US would not sign a joint statement with the six member nations of the group.
His comments came after Trudeau criticized Trump’s new tariffs on steel and aluminum. “Canadians, we’re polite, we’re reasonable, but we also will not be pushed around,” Trudeau said at a press conference.
He took particular exception to Trump saying the tariffs were necessary for national security. For Canadians “who stood shoulder to shoulder with American soldiers in far-off lands in conflicts from the First World War onward, it’s kind of insulting,” said Trudeau.
Trump fired back, saying that Trudeau “acted so meek and mild” during the summit, only to go after the US in his press conference. “Very dishonest & weak,” wrote Trump. He added:
“Based on Justin’s false statements at his news conference, and the fact that Canada is charging massive Tariffs to our U.S. farmers, workers and companies, I have instructed our U.S. Reps not to endorse the Communique as we look at Tariffs on automobiles flooding the U.S. Market!”
Earlier, Trump suggested the US would drop all import barriers if other countries did the same, but he also warned that the US would get tough on countries who kept the current system in place, reports USA Today.
“We’re like the piggy bank that everybody’s robbing,” Trump said. “And that ends.” Next up for Trump: His summit with Kim Jong Un in Singapore on June 12.

Without a doubt tRump continues to prove near daily that he is an ignorant irrational moron. All the while his party, the rethuglian hemorrhoids, appear to be ambivalent to the domestic and international dangers he is orchestrating.
Didn’t look like any of them were acting meek and mild in dolt 45’s presence at all, if anything, it was the exact opposite. Oh and for the record, if you leave a meeting early it is not the fault of the person staying that you were not there to hear what they had to say you tangerine tumor. Keeryst I hate this guy.
I hate him as well Jess and I’m in England 🙂 😉 He’ll catch all sorts of hell if he ever comes over here. They keep cancelling because they are afraid of all the rioting, and this is despite how NormanNeil colours it.
I saw some people on one of the social sites the other day saying they would be beacons lit, to alert them as to his presence in their area so they could go protest him. I know the very few people I know from Scotland have said at a minutes notice, should he show up at his golf places there, they will be protesting him right away. One friend, I have spoken of her here, is from Glasgow and apparently he banned her favorite drink Irn Bru at his clubs because when it spills it makes a mess. She went to his Ayrshire club and walked in and around it with an Irn Bru in her hand, daring them to take it from her. They did not. She later told me it’s because she is from Glasgow and they are really tough people there that no one wants to get into scuffles with 🙂
