Showdown at High Noon

Read Time:1 Minute, 53 Second

by Glenn R. Geist

Maybe it’s time to abandon the ‘Bull in the China Shop’ metaphor for that of a fat and flatulent bottle blond Godzilla stomping on whatever city or country he goes to. I’m talking about Trump, of course, breathing fire and farting falsehoods and stepping on anything that gets in his way. By “anything,” I mean truth, justice and anything to do with honor, decency, patriotism or the national interest.

Typically, Trump lashed out at Obama when informed of the latest indictments against Russian intelligence agents, insisting it happened during Obama’s term and hoping you’ll not notice the tautology there since the election always happens before the successor is elected. Why didn’t he do something about it, he snarls? Because of course he did and 18 months afterward Trump was still blaming it on some fat kid in his mothers’ basement and calling the whole thing a witch hunt because Putin says he had nothing to do with it. Why trust the evidence when Putin denies it and there’s a chance to build another golf course in the Crimea.

Obama of course, immediately issued sanctions, expelled 35 Russian diplomats and ordered two Russian compounds to be closed. Trump? No sanctions, love, and kisses to Vladimir and a vicious, dishonest and probably illegal obstruction of justice. The deep state fraud, harassment, and firings of law enforcement officials, the invention of shadowy enemies and a flood of lies that could drown the world. All because he’s innocent of course.

Politico wrote yesterday that the kangaroos in the House are preparing a court to impeach Rod Rosenstein because he’s getting too damn close to revealing Trump as something close to a traitor, or an actual traitor according to whom you ask. Or as they put it, he’s “anti-Trump” just like the FBI. Having the evidence is the same as unfounded prejudice, isn’t it? Anyway, it’s nearly noon on the street and it’s showdown time.

If this great leap forward in obstruction of justice takes place, the battle is probably lost. When the guilty have the power to fire the investigators, select the judges and dismiss the evidence, we’ve become the monster we should have realized we were fighting instead of putting him in power.

Donald Trump has shown himself to be exactly what most of us thought he would be as president … a disaster. A disaster from which this country will not recover in my lifetime. There is a reason that things seem rosier now but it is largely due to the foundation laid by the 8 years under Obama. Clinton us back to some level of control after the Republican’s trickle down theory of the 80’s. Then after baby bush made a bit of a mess with the Iraqi war Obama cam in and started us on building a solid foundation and a growth trend. It won’t be long before Trump’s policies start us on a downhill slide again and then the Democrats will need to come back in to try to repair it. The only problem is that it may take a minimum of 16 years of Democrats to come close to correcting Trump’s screw ups.

My sources assure me she said “listen, you lard-ass, limp-dick loser, get the hell out of my way before I dub thee Sir Fartsalot.”

He has absolutely no respect for anyone but himself and Darth Putin. Too bad the day is past when she could have had him arrested if not drawn and quartered.

I am researching for confirmatio but, apparently, when he walked in front of Her Majesty The Queen, Her Maj set him straight.

I so hope this proves to be true 😂😂😂

He keeps on calling it a “witch hunt” he’s right and they continue to find lots of witches. Which witch will turn states evidence remains to be seen.

Impeaching, or attempting to impeach Rosenstein would have to be the final straw. Surely, Kangaroos apart, Congress would have to flex it’s constitutional muscles.

I’m not sure there is a congress – at least not as an independent branch of government. I’m not sure they would do a damned thing since they all know this may be their last chance to establish the Oligarchy as part of the Russian Alliance. But if they did attempt to impeach or even censure, I can see the Beast trying to suspend congress pending the end of the Inquisition. After all there are private messages indicating that some members said they could smell the Trump support, which proves malicious bias.
