The Real Golden Rule of America

America! Home of the brave and beacon of hope for the trod upon masses of the world. The place where everyone thinks about when they want to to go to a place of freedom and happiness. The mainstay pillar which stands against tyranny and injustice. So much so that the heroes like Superman, Batman, Captain America, and even the Hulk resides to protect the American way. Slowly disappearing.
The reality of the true America is slowly being brought into the bright light of day. It is not really anything new, only now one of the leaders of the ugly side of America is now in charge. We have always had the Donald Trumps and his supporters in our midst but they were not given center stage to broadcast their racism, xenophobia, misogynistic beliefs before. Now they have their champion. Now we can plainly see how much disdain there is, and always has been, among our population for those who are not of European ancestry and Christian belief.
What was once thought of as the melting pot of the world, America, has been shown to have a sham all along with the darkness of hate waiting to rush into the light. They were lying muted among us as though they were hay strewn around a barn floor.
It is clear that they were simply waiting for a spark to ignite the fire and a wind to fan the flames of outright hatred for people different from themselves. Someone was needed to bring forth those voices that seek to defame those of color and those of different cultures.
Someone needed to put back the order of power that had once been between the sexes. Donald Trump was that spark and wind that brought that fire to light and fanned those flames. He has given voice and permission to those haters of others to step out and be heard without being shouted down.
Do not think that it is Donald Trump alone doing this. He simply provided permission from the most powerful position in the world that it was okay to openly hate others. It is okay to openly disdain the presence of people who believe differently than you. It is okay to be deceitful when dealing with others with who we are doing business. The purpose in America is to get as rich as possible as fast as possible and to hell with anyone who believes otherwise.
There is an old saying that people should live by the Golden Rule only it is not the Golden Rule one learns in Christian dogma. It is the real Golden Rule. It simply says, “He who has the gold makes the rules.”
That is where America is today. It is not about bravery, nor a beacon of light for freedom, or even having the opportunity to achieve dreams. It is about those who have the gold making the rules for the rest of us to follow. It will be this way until those being crushed under the feet of the God-seekers and the rich figure out that they are being used as pavement for the roads and walkways of the Donald Trumps of this country.

I beg to differ. I think Trump, Inc. accepts Rubles too, whether on or under the table.
I guess you guys are right. But, you know, I have long wondered, was this whole America, the bright and shining star of hope for the underclass of Europe and those of the rest of the world, simply a long con started by the nobility of Europeans long ago. I mean, think about it. The Constitution was written by learned wealthy men and the the governments have been set up by learned and wealthy men, and the laws have been set up by the same. The vast majority of the government and laws are about wealthy people keeping and protecting what they have, where exactly did this justice for all idea creep into the picture, if it ever did. Were they being fair or simply tolerating the rest of us.
Yes, Jess there are reasons, both green and gold. Once America did not seem to concern itself with only wealth and for more than 200 hundred years it seemed to be the path to a more enlightened world. But, apparently, we were all wrong. Donald Trump and his supporters focus mostly on dollars and it has suddenly become the mission of America. Whereas once it had been about what was right it is now about the bottom line.
But but, we need to understand their fee fees and pull them in because…reasons.
