Trump Even Lies About Cars

It’s not so much the lies as it is the idiocy that lies behind Crooked Trump’s most ludicrous statements. Things like not knowing that Benz’s largest assembly plant is in the US and no, a Camaro doesn’t cost $119,000 in China as he claimed the other day. He’s off by a factor of 2 and it’s a special model with a tiny engine designed just for that market.

Those statements are designed to hurt us, not to help. Actually, GM sells a lot of cars in China – 10 million of them in the last year, and that helps support a major US corporation and all the jobs that entail. In fact, China is GM’s largest market! They’re selling more cars now than they ever did in the glory years when America was great. In other words (in Trump words) they’re screwing us.

So sure, an import duty on German cars makes a lot of sense when their plants in the US are the sole source of many popular models of Mercedes, BMW, and Volkswagen which are made here and exported from here. After all, if it ain’t broke, break it and blame Hillary’s emails.!

So is Trump simply ignorant? Does he think that Chinese tariffs are hurting GMs booming sales, or is Crooked Trump just Crooked Trump? Is he unaware of the Mercedes Benz assembly plants in the US when he says he’s going to levy import duties on them? Or is he just Crooked Trump?

It really doesn’t matter as long as the ignorant rabble thinks he’s saved their job, is making them prosper by promoting obsolete industries and giving out ephemeral tax cuts with on hand and taking them away with the other It’s all easy he told them. He and only he can fix it all and fix it in a hurry. It’s all so simple when you have no idea what you’re talking about and don’t really care anyway.
