We Can’t Blame Trump or Hillary’s Emails As Canada Sees Another Mass Shooting
“It was a bang and a bang, then bang, bang, bang…”
…said the witness. Yep. another rampage shooting but no, before you trot out the Trump twaddle and try to blame Mexico or Hillary’s emails, it was in Canada. Our relatively peaceful neighbor to the North isn’t immune to the madness stirring around much of the world.
At least four people, including two police officers, are dead this morning in Fredericton, the capital of the Canadian province of New Brunswick. There are wounded victims including the alleged perpetrator and Prime Minister Trudeau tweeted:
“My heart goes out to everyone affected by this morning’s shooting…”
…in stark contrast to the current American style, no blame was assigned.
Two dead and thirteen were injured last month in a Toronto shooting. Another one in New Brunswick in 2012, killing three and injuring two by a “populist” trying to start a revolution. A school shooting in 2016, took 5 lives in 16, and 3 more with a crossbow later that year. Six dead and 18 wounded in a Quebec mosque in 2017. Trend or coincidence, I don’t know, but in these hot days, the mad blood seems to be stirring even in a cold country.
