Trump: Democrats Funding Caravan? WTF?

Read Time:1 Minute, 18 Second

by David P. Greenberg

Why do we need to “fact check” this caravan lunacy? If you’re so stupid that you need the New York Times to tell you this is Republican bullshit, then you aren’t going to believe the truth, anyway. Didn’t we learn our lesson from “Pizzagate?”

Republicans are liars. They win elections the same way they confirm Supreme Court seats – by lying, cheating, gerrymandering, and moving goalposts.

Of course, the Democrats didn’t “fund” the caravan. Emma Lazarus had more to do with it, when she bade us “lift our lamp beside the Golden Door,” then the nebulous Republican boogieman “The Democrats” EVER did.

But it really doesn’t matter who’s responsible. We live in Post-Truth America, governed by morons who lead with lies. We live in a country that promotes drunken rapists as Supreme Court Justices, and Mafioso Reality TeeVee sociopaths as Heads of State. In a word – Fascism.

I just saw a Russian-Bot meme on a Republican’s page, about how Stacey Abrams owes 50K in back taxes. We KNOW that Trump has evaded taxes for decades. Not only did the same New York Times issue a huge report detailing the entire history of Trump’s tax-crimes, but the piece of shit ADMITTED it in a debate on national fuckin’ TeeVee – and nobody gives a flying fuck.

But, Democrats – yes YOU – will suck this shit up, and vote-fail yet again. And a chance to turn America’s Reddest state, Blue will have been wasted. AGAIN.

We don’t need “Fact Checkers.” We need a half-smart fuckin’ electorate.

It’s not what I know as a caravan. A caravan to me is a sort of house on wheels, normally attached to a Volvo car driven by a man in a flat cap who has a penchant for living in extreme discomfort with a wife who is either nuts or too afraid to tell him he’s nuts.

Mind you…the nuts bit fits in this scenario…..

Pat Robertson – I picture him in a Dürer etching, riding a pale horse. Anti-Semitism cometh before the fall. The only question is who will take that fall. If they’re expecting some kind of angry response they won’t get it from me. Like Teddy, I prefer to speak softly and carry.

It is Pat Robertson that is leading the valiant charge on Soros’ money being used for funding this caravan and the freich wing echo chamber has dutifully picked it up and run with it.

As I speak the caravan is over 1,000 miles from nearest US border crossing. The majority of them are walking, could be a busy Christmas at the Texas crossings. Republicans are suggesting they are beating the gates down right now. I feel for the poor souls, they’re damned either way.
