Mass Shootings and Fake Certainties

When a “white” anti-Semite shot up a synagogue, it didn’t take long for some crusader to declare that he only survived because he was white – a black man would have been shot, you see.
This kind of mendacious conjecture, of course, is disgustingly common on “our side” as well as theirs. One uses the word “probably” and proceeds as though it had been “certainly” and often the word tantamount is used as though it meant “is” instead of almost. Every cowboy wants to ride the bull.
So I’m wondering how soon the latest mass shooting in California in which the killer shot himself to death will prompt someone to twist it into supporting his crusade with more fake certainties.
The mad blood is stirring and the madness of the crowd is growing. It’s going to get worse as our failing president rants and raves and threatens revenge on Americans. He is not going to mellow or reconsider. I think our number one mission is to put him in a straight jacket before he destroys us all.

The sad thing is that it helps the bad guys boost the idea that prejudice against white people is a new kind of white man’s burden and so they (we) are justified in retaliating. I hate to play into their hands like that.
I pointed out elsewhere that most violent and non-violent crimes are committed by brown eyed people. Can we get from there to “Blue eyes good, brown eyes bad?” I don’t think so.
Our number one mission! Yes, if only it were possible to put him in that straight jacket.
As most would I expect I tire of the constant “white male” drumbeat, from both men and women. Why does it make a difference if a black man or a white man picks up a gun and start shooting? Secondly, you can almost bet upon hearing the news that a shooter is on the loose, that it’s a white guy because there are millions and millions more white guys in the US, so bet the odds. Regardless, I refuse to be shamed by these “white male” hating fools. I am a white guy and I’m happy to be. Thanks very much.
You see that “white” label everywhere on social media. It seems liberals are dedicated to diminishing white people, even though they are “white people.” The implication, of course, is only white people kill, which is as far removed from the truth as Donald Trump is from being presidential. For the Facebook liberals, however, it seems critically important to blame white people for all gun crimes, and that’s just an ignorant assumption. Thanks!
