Donald Trump Thinks He’s a King

Read Time:4 Minute, 20 Second

Yesterday I wrote I was simply tired of dealing with the piece of shit who is currently holding the office of president of our country, and it is true.

I, along with many others here have pointed out his many lies, corruption, racism, and other missteps he has made as he has bungled through the last two years, including now being investigated for possibly being an asset for the Russians while holding the highest office in the land. However, I have come to realize that his behavior so far has not been the worst of it.

For the last few days I have sat here and watched people try to explain how everything he has done has been the right thing to do. Last night one the dip shits, I can’t even remember his name he was so lame, was trying to defend why the president felt the need to keep the content of his meetings confidential from others within his administration. Accordingly, this idiot tried to say that because of Trump’s leaky administration he had to to keep those details quiet lest the content be leaked out to, oh, I don’t know, the people of this country.

As this jerk off tried to explain himself he said that the people had hired Trump as it’s Chief Foreign Policy Negotiator and thus he was the ONLY one that needed that information. Yeah, well, that is not quite right. With Trump’s propensity to enrich himself he may have agreed to see Alaska and Florida to the Russians for a dollar a piece. I think that is something the people would like to know.

As one of the panelists pointed out, he is not a king; he is just a president, and office holder, an employee of the people of of the country. There is also the chance that Trump, who does not eat the healthiest diet in the world, has locked the country into things that only he knows about them he drops over dead of a heart attack.

There is something very disturbing about Donald Trump being secretive about his discussions with foreign leaders. What is even more disturbing is other members of the government defending the practice. Donald Trump is supposed to be representing ALL of the people in this country, not just his base. He is supposed to be looking out for the best interest of the nation as a whole, not just those who were conned into wearing a bright red hat with MAGA written across the front.

Right now it does not seem that he has any part of America’s interest in mind. His stand off with congress is hurting a lot of people that should not be hurt. Not just the 800,000 workers who are not getting paid but also the businesses that depend on the incomes from those 800,000 are being hurt. Others, like the farmers, are getting a double whammy because of the tariff battle with China are literally getting killed because they are not receiving their government subsidies or information on planting needs for next year’s crops.

Those that depend on income from those farmers are getting hurt. All the while it is not just Trump, it is those who are enabling him. The Republicans in office who are using weak, and I do mean weak, excuses to defend his actions are just as guilty, if not more so, than Trump himself.

We have watched this flea circus Long enough. It is far past time for the powers of the congress to be used to force him to behave normally or kick him out. Look folks, I have had my likes and dislikes with every president that has held office, some more than others but this has gone too far and for members of congress to not be standing up is getting close to an insurrection. I do not know if he is a Russian asset or not but he could not be doing more for the Russians if he were their equivalent to James Bond. It seems that Washington, D.C. has become the home of the Trump branch of the Russian Mafia.

A strange thing seems to be occurring, as if what was going on right before our eyes was not strange enough, but Mitch McConnell has become strangely quiet during all of this rigamarole. He seems to be hiding out until he figures out which way the wind is going to blow. In my humble opinion, which I realize is not worth much, the throw down by Trump is much more than a fight over a wall. It may be one of the biggest and most important battles to be fought during the Trump era.

This is about the soul of the country. It is virtually an attempt at a coup d’état, and people are picking their sides. While I am not always a fan of political struggles, especially where people’s lives are concerned, this one is worth fighting. Trump and his minions have been pushed into a corner and he must be forced to blink. This is where he needs to see that absolute power does not exist in this country.

They view their support of this clown in a weird Machiavellian ends justify the means way. Integrity is the enemy of the right’s vision.

Joe I wish I could say that we should just say, “Forgive them for they are just pawns”, but I would really prefer that he and they be shipped to some small, deserted island far, far away from any other human contact and left there forever.

Gotta admire Trump in a twisted way in that the loyalty he inspires among the stupid is incredible.

Ain’t that the truth. What bothers me is not all of his supporters are “stupid” except for the fact they supported and support him. Now THAT’S stupid.

I guess you are right Joe. In much the same way one way one might admire Hitler, Mussolini, or the Pied Piper. Its ok with me as long as the stories all have the same ending.
