Tzipi Hotovely, the Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister announced Thursday that Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) and Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) will not be allowed to enter Israel for a visit scheduled for this weekend. Earlier today Trump tweeted that allowing them to come would “show great weakness, and that the congresswomen “hated Jews.”

In recent days, Trump had reportedly suggested to advisers that Israel should deny entry to Tlaib and Omar due to their support of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement, and he tweeted as much shortly before the announcement.

It didn’t take Democrats long to condemn the decision, with Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) calling it “utterly egregious.” The pro-Israel lobbying group AIPAC also criticized the decision, saying “every member of Congress should be able to visit and experience our democratic ally Israel firsthand.”

No doubt Trump pal and confidante Benjamin Netanyahu, currently the target of corruption investigations not only in Israel, but in other countries as well, was behind this action.

I’m no fan of these women either but I’m also not a fan of presidential overreach.

While I’m not a fan of either of these women, using presidential power to obstruct political rivals and to interfere with the lawful doings and performance with the offices of legislators is a felony, misprison and punishable by impeachment. Lock him the hell up before he sabotages the courts to make it impossible.

I keep asking the same question to which there is no answer. What is wrong with people supporting this shit? I keep wondering if I am actually living in the world everyone else does or if I am now insane.

Well stated.

Remember that the ones who claim to not be insane are the ones we need be wary of.
