Hey Trump—Please Stop Pretending Like You Care

Donald Trump is an idiot.
Unfortunately, he is also a malignant narcissist who only pretends at the barest hint of humanity. Well, if I’m being honest, he does a lousy job of pretending to be anything, especially the president, much less human. Trump has all the depth of a New York City pothole with a personality to match. You can hear it in the way he talks, and you can see it in the way he smiles. There’s no warmth there, it’s the kind of smile a used car salesman gives when he’s sold a car he knows is a lemon. It’s the sort of smile a pedophile gives when a pair of unwitting parents have left him to babysit their kids.
I don’t have to tell you how tired I am of writing about him, I practically bitch about it every time I sit down to write one of these pieces. I had more fun being castigated by all the negative comments I received when I wrote that piece about the Punisher and the Police a few weeks ago. Because let me tell you, that was a hoot. Not. But I’m not going to rehash that incident.
A lot of the time, I feel like I’m John Winston in the novel, 1984, writing in secret while Big Brother’s fat face is on television, breathing down my neck. Only in this time frame, Big Brother isn’t this big, bushy-faced tyrant keeping his omniscient eyes on me; it’s the sour face of mango-Hitler, white circles under his eyes where the spray tan doesn’t reach. He’s like a walking self-induced vomit- every time I see him, I want to throw up.
He has no empathy for anyone save himself. He’s both the bully and the victim. When the shootings in Ohio and Texas happened last week, he didn’t show up to console the victims, he just showed up for a fucking photo op! There he is, grinning like a fool and giving a thumb’s up like it’s a campaign stop! I’m surprised he wasn’t offering autographs! No wonder none of the El Paso survivors wanted a visit from him. I wouldn’t be surprised if they thought he would call ICE on them. (Knowing what a shitheel Trump is, he probably would have.)
The two things that nauseated me the most was the picture of him and his marital mannequin holding that baby who survived the El Paso shooting because its parents sacrificed themselves. I bet the germaphobe in Trump started freaking out about getting Mexican baby cooties on him the moment he left the hospital. I sincerely hope the kid took a long, righteous piss on Melania or at the very least, spit up on her. I mean, why did she even bother holding the kid, was she hoping to drink its blood after all the cameras were off? Probably. (Oh yeah- SIDENOTE TO MELANIA: Try wearing a bra once in a while, ok? I know your boobs are fake as Hell and don’t need it, but the rest of us aren’t interested in seeing your nipples coming at us like it’s 3D!)
Then Trump had the nerve to say that he was treated like a ‘rock star’ in Dayton. Seriously? Despite my sympathy over the shooting, I have to wonder what the collective IQ is in Dayton if that’s true. But then again, Trump’s account of reality is highly questionable, so they get the benefit of the doubt. At any rate, who gives a shit about how Trump was treated? That bastard should be happy they didn’t throw garbage at him. Lord knows I would’ve.
I can’t imagine Trump being any comfort to anyone, he just came to pose for the cameras to give the illusion of having a soul. If I were in the hospital and had seen his repugnant face hovering over me, I would’ve thought the Angel of Death had come for me. Then I would’ve punched him in the balls.
I think it’s pretty evident by now that Trump doesn’t care about anyone but himself. He practically screams it every day, boasting how great of a president he is and how he’s accomplished a lot of ‘great things’, (while never actually mentioning what they are.) I think at this point, he’s incapable of distinguishing the difference between himself and the country. He really thinks they’re one and the same, and any attack on him is an attack on America. But the thing of it is, it’s not. He wants people to think that he’s way more popular than he actually is, and that his followers comprise the majority of Americans. It doesn’t. Trump is kinda like explosive decompression-he sucks all the oxygen out of the room every time he opens his mouth.
Seriously, he’s never going to do anything about guns, he’s not going to win a trade war with China, and though he may or may not actually be a racist, he’s emboldened racists to come out like it’s gay pride day in San Francisco. The reality is, it’s going to take YEARS to undo all the damage he’s done, if it’s possible. A lot of people on the left fear a second term for Trump, but I like to think that there are a lot of people like me who wouldn’t vote for him if only because we’re sick to death of seeing his face.
I don’t know if I’m the first one to say this, but Trump is the epitome of the ugly American, and I dunno about you, but I don’t want to see that face staring back at me for another four years. We may have an uphill battle in 2020, but we must win it or we won’t have a country to care about one way or the other.

That, my friend Neil, is the real issue. We can vote tRump out of office, but we can’t do anything about his legions on MAGAmorons, racists and xenophobes.

All you say is true yet Trump’s supporters don’t care. They know he’s a liar but it gives them sick pleasure thinking it bugs people of conscience that they adore this kook.
There’s no getting through to a Trumpite so I figure we may as well get our kicks by calling them and their hero stupid and liar. If you really want to make these idiots cry tell them they hate America. They actually do hate America. Nothing they stand for, which is really nothing but nodding in agreement with any tweet or lie Trump tells, has anything to do with the ideals of America or Christianity which they also see themselves as espousing.
I appreciate how happy the Trumpites are though. They prove the adage that ignorance is bliss.
Trying to reason with a Trumper is like trying to reason with a drunk. Both are exercises in futility.
