It Is Time For Fox News To Give Trump the ‘Obama Treatment’

THIS is how our national nightmare began. Nobody and I will say that word again – NOBODY – will convince me that Trump was elected for any other reason than the very real fact that THIS is how the conservative media behaved when our first Black President was elected and the people who were White wanted to even the score. That is, Trump was elected due to “whitelash.” Oh, yes he was.

What’s that you said? Trump was elected because of jobs? No! He didn’t! He inherited a solid economy and continued on the same trend line, that is until he ignored warnings of a global pandemic sweeping this nation. As NPR reported:
“He refused to allow testing to take place because he feared it would hinder his re-election bid.”
Imagine the fallout and subsequent conservative entertainment complex rage machine had Obama been found out for doing that? Oh, wait! He wouldn’t have, now would he? Of course not! Because he dealt with many crises during his presidency and upon re-election eve, he dealt with Hurricane Sandy proving to Americans at the time of his re-election that he knew how to reach across the aisle, put his partisanship aside while assisting a Republican-led state.
Did you hear him one single time state that “Chris Christie can ask for help but he has to ask nicely?” Nope! Did you hear him berate the press as the current occupant does now on a daily basis? Nope! And just who was there castigating the federal response to Hurricane Sandy, this despite Governor Christie, a Republican Governor of New Jersey, praising Obama? Donald J. Trump!
And just who was leading the charge on this all things involving the “hate Obama initiative?” Simple: Donald J. Trump. He had the freaking audacity to question Mr. Obama’s place of birth. Think about that for a moment. For those of us who are White, this won’t bother us in the least now, will it? Can you imagine what Mr. Obama felt like? How Black people across this land felt? No? This is why Trump was elected into office.
He harnessed all of the hatred towards our former President while ensuring he embraced even the most novel conspiracy theories and lies against the former President and other Democratic leaders. In other words, readers: Mr. Trump built his entire presidency on fabrications of lies, embracing conspiracies, and the like and now look where we each find ourselves.
To be certain: there remain the naysayers, arguing that the mere election of Mr. Obama proved – yes proved – how Americans had moved beyond the racial divide. Did it? Well then somebody MUST explain to me why it was that Republicans met while that man and the First Lady were dancing their first dance, at The Caucus Steak House to ensure that nothing Mr. Obama embraced or suggested would be implemented, that they were going to obstruct everything and anything, depriving the voters “of the hope and change they voted for?” They even bragged about this, and also told the Vice-President, Joe Biden, to not look for any support on anything supported by Mr. Obama.
It appeared then, as it does now, that many Caucasians in this nation lost their collective minds and could not handle the fact that the guy occupying our Oval Office was Black. Look at their hatred and disdain, accusing him of imagined issues.
Now, play the tape and apply it to Trump. Because guess what? It all applies. Each and every criticism. And I will bet the bank that the sycophants over at Fox would ever dare make these comments about Trump, now would they?
Nobody likes to comment or share these types of posts, but the truth is perhaps too painful, that is, that we as a nation still hold prejudices against people who are Black. That ought to bother each and every one of us who are White, and despite this fact, I do not think it does.

Good article! We must begin the conversation on race when racism is a pillar of his agenda and policies! He is a white nationalist and he must be voted out!
There is nothing else to say. When you are right you are right. One only has to go back to the comments of Mitch McConnell made on the floor of the Senate. “We will do every thing necessary to make sure he is a one term president.” He violated the very same rule for which he denied Senator Warren from making when she tried to read the letter from Dr. Martin Luther King’s widow about Jeff Sessions.
FOX is making millions, if not billions of dollars supporting Trump so there’s no incentive for them to do the right thing. They are truly Trump’s propaganda channel.
Fox News will never turn on Trump, even after he trashed them publicly because he didn’t like what they said to him. They care only about the bottom $$$ not about doing the right thing.
