Senator Cassidy—Trading Lives For Dollars Is Not Acceptable

The United States Senator from my state, Bill Cassidy, wants us to open up the economy, and the faster the better apparently. As a result it is incumbent on me to let the Senator know my thoughts which may be found on his Facebook page.
Senator Cassidy the fact that you have deprived me of a response from your office angers me, but you really want to know what sends me over the edge? The decision that Mr. Trump, you and your fellow colleagues within the Republican Party have made regarding exchanging the economy for LIVES.
For the record: NO LIFE is worth money. Should you doubt me, go ask the newly widowed who were left a hefty insurance benefit. The fact that you refuse to acknowledge this is stunning. The fact that you are sidestepping it makes you complicit, and partially to blame. The fact that you could not care less, shows what a worthless soul your body inhabits and how it is beyond redemption.
As we speak there are more than 40 states opening up their respective economies, this when the death toll for yesterday alone was 1600 people. Six. Teen. Hundred. People. Louisiana alone had 50 deaths, a sign that we are NOT even following the basic guidelines set forth and established by the White House itself, that is before the economic guys took control over the response to this pandemic.
So let me make my final point and send this to all of your Republican allies who refuse to place life over the economy: Should I die from this virus due to the outright negligence of an administration who placed the economy over my life, I shall leave instructions with my wife to litigate the never-ending life out of you, the state and the federal government. I am more than certain there are already lawyers lining the hallways of courts with litigation as we speak.
I suffer from a highly compromised immune system. And while I understand the perils of having a stagnant economy, I also compassionately understand that YOU are infringing upon MY RIGHT TO LIVE should someone end up infecting me due to your fecklessness.
You and this president, the man you acquitted for abusing his office are on notice. And you can take THAT to the bank, you worthless political lackey.
And you call yourself pro-life. Pro-life my arse.

Confusing statistics with reality and even morality isn’t a trick owned or invented by the Trump Cult, but they do own the minds of millions.
Like Mark, I resent being represented as unavoidable collateral damage in Trump’s campaign of vanity, greed and lust for power. If anything makes his callous attitude worse it’s the campaign by him and the party who infected America with him to take away our medical insurance while tens of thousands lie dying and uninsured.
To add insult to injury, the Republicans have already signaled they won’t support another stimulus package designed by Democrats to help the little guy.
